In fact we criticise Rāmadèvarāya of Yādavas for foolishly waging war on fellow Hindus (Kākatīyas) in south when north was being ravaged by Sullas for 100 years by then.

Harpāladèva, IIRC, was tortured & killed just like Shambhuchhatrapati was. He was skinned alive and his skin was hung on main gate of dèvagiri fort for vultures to eat. For daring to fight back
