I don't understand why anyone believes these three when they've all committed easily proven perjury.
Narrator: He was aware, as three months later these same individuals were arrested as part of a kidnapping plot.
Narrator: He actually met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak twice.
Narrator: McCabe disputed this account and Rosenstein eventually admitted that this conversation did happen.
Narrator: The White House (in some capacity) was aggressively pushing for investigations into "leaks".
Narrator: Sessions, in a different testimony, is lying about committing perjury in the video above.
Narrator: In Dec 2017 Trump asked Rosenstein if he was "on my team".
Narrator: Second instance of perjury regarding loyalty pledge.

I realize I sound like a broken record, but bad things are on the horizon.

We've normalized the radicalization of a major political party.

If those in power don't face this threat head-on, more political violence is inevitable.

🚨Thread🚨
1/ The FBI has issued a serious warning about QAnon followers.

"The plan" never came to fruition, so those radicalized by the movement will feel an obligation to take matters into their own hands.

This means engaging in real-world violence.
2/ Accelerationists recognized QAnon as a recruitment opportunity.

This violent right-wing ideology believes that governments are irreparably corrupt, so the only solution is to "accelerate their demise by sowing chaos and creating political tension."

I definitely feel this @model_daughters.

Several times this month I've felt like paying attention isn't worth it. Better to unplug, give in to apathy instead of constantly asking myself "why bother?".

But that's exactly what the bad guys want. It really is a battle of the mind.
Like you, I've found inspiration in @sarahkendzior, @AndreaChalupa, @JYSexton, and others with the courage to be honest about the threat facing us.

When you feel powerless, look for strength in community and art. These things make the fight worth it.
Jared nails it here when he calls it weaponized apathy. Demoralization is part of the design.

We both know things are probably going to get ugly, but they can also turn around faster than you'd think when the masses demonstrate that they've had enough.

If the Democratic Party doesn't get better at controlling the narrative, there's no hope at fighting the rising wave of fascism in the country.

This is a propaganda war in an information landscape full of noise. Considering the resources behind them, the messaging is pathetic.
Like it or not, this is where the true battle is being fought.

Right now, Dems are losing because they're not even showing up.

1/ The "Darkest Timeline" coming up is way worse than people realize.

Several things need to line up for it to happen. Some of those are up to chance, some up to officials, but it remains quite possible if action isn't taken soon to mitigate it.

Thread.
2/ This isn't a prediction, it's a warning.

I'm not saying this will happen, but without action it looks like the institutions will sit back and allow this to go down.

The 2024 election could have no positive outcome and make the Trump Presidency look like the good old days.
3/ The stage is being set for the GOP to ignore election results that don't favor them. This won’t be done in 2022 because they'll likely take back the House.

Even if Dems retain a narrow majority in the Senate, they're not going to waste the nuclear option on the midterms.

This is an attempt at normalization and his way of putting this into the discourse.

It's now at least three separate statements in less than two weeks alluding to a return to office.

The worst part is, there's no "good" way to handle this in our current media environment.
We can't just ignore him, it's important to report on these persistent threats to the government.

We also can't freak out, because it will seep into the news cycle and give him legitimacy as more politicans are asked to comment.
The only responsible way to proceed is to neutralize the threat by arresting him for one of the hundreds of crimes he's committed.

The easiest (and fastest) would be Obstruction of Justice as outlined in the Mueller Report, as everything has been established already.
