There’s a lot going on right now.

People make their jokes, but when conversations get honest everyone says the same: they're scared, exhausted, and know we're on the cusp of everything getting much worse. In response to the mental onslaught of so much happening all at once, our media has transformed into a white noise machine calibrated to drown out the death knells.

Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch, and Alan Greenberg are longtime associates of Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell.

However, they're also all tied to another person known for controlling the powerful through connections and secrets. 1/ On May 2 1983, Trump, Murdoch, and Greenberg were all "Honorary Chairmen" for this event, a dinner held in honor of Roy Cohn.

Small world, being so close with multiple notorious blackmailers who happen to have ties to the intelligence community and organized crime. 2/

Well... I'm sure this won't be misconstrued and used by accelerationists, #disinfo grifters, or fascists to rile up their followers. Seriously though, this is going to travel very fast in the worst circles and ratchet up the paranoia.

One such organization is the Texas School Safety Center, a non-profit funded by the government.

The Texas Education Agency puts their website under "Student Discipline" resources.

"We knew it might take 5 or 10 or 20 years, yet gradually an authoritarian state arose within the democratic state, and a nucleus of fanatical devotion and ruthless determination formed in a wretched world that lacked basic convictions." "Only one danger could have jeopardised this development — if our adversaries had understood its principle, established a clear understanding of our ideas, and not offered any resistance."

She doesn't need the money, she doesn't need to worry about access, and she's one of the few the general public would believe.

She knows A LOT of sordid details and could expose so much wrong, but she doesn't and that says a lot. ImageImageImageImage She's not the only one either.

Isn't it interesting that the whole Prince Andrew thing never came up in Oprah's interview with Harry and Meghan?

Her social circle sure features a lot of immoral rich dudes, many who bought their way out of sexual assault charges for years. ImageImageImageImage

"DHS identified threats but did not share intelligence"

That sounds like a fifth column to me. This is especially alarming because DHS is taking the lead domestically on threats related to the Ukraine invasion.

People are doing their best to avoid the harsh realization that sanctions on their own aren't going to solve this.

They're great for PR, but not very effective at actually changing behavior when used on their own.

Pretending they're some proven solution ignores reality. 1/ "Sanctions seem to be the main, if not only, Western weapon for dealing with Russian aggression in Ukraine."

Sounds reasonable, we should at least try right?

Well... 3/ Image

The state of MSM news makes it easy to lose sight of Russia's larger geopolitical projects.

The escalation in Ukraine is concerning because it looks like it will advance SEVERAL of these goals simultaneously.

Thread of Threads collecting these ambitions into one place. 1/ Russia is working in coordination with China to take control of global food production as scarcity increases in a warming world.

Thread detailing Russia's efforts to use the Climate Crisis to create an Arctic Shipping Channel and reshape the global supply chain.

This is being done in coordination with China, and the escalation in Ukraine may play a part. 1/ Taking advantage of a warming Arctic, Russia is hoping to establish a new shipping channel that will give them great control over the global supply chain.

Thread detailing Russia's efforts to revamp Africa's energy sector and gain control over Africa's "rare earth metals" (they're not actually that rare).

This is being done in coordination with China, and the attention on Ukraine will help mask big moves made in the area. 1/ Russia has been using nuclear energy to re-establish African partnerships for quite some time.

They promise to make deals with "no strings attached", and use the connections as a starting point to supply arms and mercenaries to friendly regimes.

Thread detailing Russia's efforts to use the Climate Crisis to take control of global food production.

This is being done in coordination with China, and the escalation in Ukraine is part of that plan as well. 1/ Ukraine is one of the largest grain exporters in the world (it isn't known as "the breadbasket of Europe" for no reason).

As @AndreaChalupa notes here, destruction in the region brings Russia even closer to market dominance and imperial expansion.

FBI Director Louis Freeh - Moscow - 1997
"Crimes by Russians, or by Russian Organized Crime groups, are not a dominant problem - this is not a large problem in relation to the other criminal cases and organized crime groups that we deal with in the United States." It's interesting Freeh said this in 1997, as the infiltration of Russian mafia figures into New York and other major cities was already known by the FBI and Interpol in 1996.

"The contemporary American fascist movement is led by oligarchical interests for whom the public good is an impediment, such as those in the hydrocarbon business"

This point is EXCEPTIONALLY important. The movement is being pushed forward by the elite.
theguardian.com/world/2021/dec… This is why it's not just an "American" threat. Borders don't mean anything to these individuals.

Hell, many are doing everything they can to extend their empires into the stars.

The Gosar video isn't just distasteful, it's dangerous.

It intercuts real footage and images with the popular anime Attack on Titan.

The violence is bad, but the thematic implications of the juxtaposition is even worse. 1/ The anime is about a persecuted race, forced into walled cities by roaming monsters called Titans who feast upon human flesh.

In the video, Gosar depicts himself, Boebert, and Greene as the heroes. AOC, Biden, and asylum seekers at the border are the mindless monsters. 2/

I checked out some right-wing circles recently and noticed a marked shift in rhetoric from a couple months ago.

The problems they complain about are the same as always, but the solutions being offered have changed.

Thread. 1/ There's little to no talk of elections, they don't seem to care about the midterms at all.

Instead they're openly embracing Caesarism, saying it's the only way to get anything done and stop wasting time.

Some background on Caesarism here:

I've been thinking a lot about the accounts paid to Tweet messages boosting the Democrats, and decided to take a look at the Tweets this month from one in particular.

It's interesting to see what topics dominate the messaging.

Thread. 1/ Firstly, I'm not going to identify the person. If you must know, I'm sure you can figure it out.

This person may not currently be paid to post, but they have in the past. Also, a significant portion of their recent Tweets are clearly based on a script.

Most people aren't aware how far past "politics as normal" we are, because the MSM isn't covering any of this like the crisis it is.

If you want a decent grasp on the current political situation, and what the stakes are, I suggest starting with these five Threads: 1/ This Thread from @JYSexton outlines why it's so dangerous that the media keeps downplaying the growing fascistic movement.

Underestimating how serious they are about this is beyond negligence, it's complicity.
