"The Company" as Wagner is called, is now putting out morale videos. Various clips from across Africa are now being put to culturally curious time shifted music in the manner of the old Iraq homemade films. FYI RSOTM means "reverse side of the medal" youtube.com/channel/UCG9fK…
These films are part of a growing PR/fanboy/contractor campaign to normalize the currently illegal Russian PMC business. The films typically have a grim Russian style approach to fighting even though they don't officially exist.
"The Tourist" is a fiction film about Russian contractors sent to Central Africa but find themselves forced to fight. There is an earlier film about jailed Russian political operative Maxim Shugalev as well. You can watch the entire Tourist film here
I say "PR" but I should be careful, Russian filmmakers know how to take "grim" to a whole nuther level. Here are some amazing examples of Russian films on war.
This expertise in cinema would be expected from the nation who gave us "Battleship Potemkin" in 1925. The same year America made the WW1 epic "The Big Parade" You would think great films about how horrible war is would move the needle towards peace.
The RSOTM has some decent merchandise in the "mercenary" genre. But so far don't look for a penny sucking Blackwater Pro Shop play. rsotm.ru/shop
For now Wagner operates openly and is slowly expanding in countries few nations want to engage in. lawfareblog.com/what-laws-cons…

Lost in much of the discussion of wars or resolution of wars in Libya and Afghanistan is the insidious influence of salafists in Saudi Arabia shaping perceptions and using Madkhalism and Deobandi teachings to recruit and drive violence. france24.com/en/tv-shows/re…
Saudi preacher Rabee al-Madkhali influences large numbers of people in the Middle East, Asia and Northeastern Africa. The salafist cleric targets the Muslim Brotherhood and supports the idea of a royal family issuing fatwas in their support. worldpoliticsreview.com/insights/26962…
The talibs had their roots in the Deobandi schools. In the mid 1800's in India under the British, clerics instilled a sense of independence and globalism. After partition the students in the deobandis in Pakistan were energized by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.nytimes.com/2002/02/23/wor…
We are learning that the former President was obsessed with spying on the media and his people while paranoid that he was being spied upon. All while his droids made multiple contacts with intelligence assets or agents from Russia, UAE, Ukraine, KSA etc vanityfair.com/news/2021/05/t…
We know that Trump distrusted the CIA, FBI and State Dept because they were...professionals, with ethics and a code of conduct. He then had foreign nations like Israel, KSA and the UAE secretly fund or support his close network of confidantes. defenseone.com/policy/2020/12…
One of the odd birds that constantly sticks out is Ezra Cohen Watnick. A young man who appears to be the Forrest Gump of Intelligence jobs. Spy vet and all around intel curmudgeon @SpyTalker lit up the ROTC drop out wunderkind in early 2017. Asking WTF? newsweek.com/2017/04/28/ezr…
1963: White English boys from Liverpool singing Barrett Strong/Berry Gordy and the Isley Brothers music for the first time on TV.
Barrett Strong gave vet and auto worker Berry and what would become Motown his first hit in 1960. Berry had borrowed $800 bucks and took the money from his first hit "Money" to let anyone audition. He sold Motown to MCA in 1988 for $61 million.
The Isley Brothers 1962 hit was a dramatically reworked version of the Phil Spector produced original of Twist and Shout first recorded by the Top Notes in Philly.
Netanyahu spent more than 13 years in power. 4,867 days to be exact. Despite this long grip on the system, he says he is the victim of fraud and a deep state conspiracy. Stop me if you've heard this one before. apnews.com/article/donald…

We are in an interesting economy in which many people saved money and many people were devastated economically. Some people think we can harness our collective empathy for hardship and tip our way out. vox.com/the-goods/2244…
It appears that Das Kapital is on every Maganazi's reading list this summer. Sadly the 1867 critique of the European political economy and the negative impact of the capitalist system might make them realize that Donald is exactly the guy Karl warned us against.
Q-Maganon substitutes "Commie" for "Angry Black People" but hasn't actually read any of Karl's books. Donnie and his Dad made their dough from exploiting the masses, slums, casinos, hotels and labor industries. Destroying the ability of people to vote was his latest gig.
Is it even worth discussing philosophy, economics and social system with people who worship a amoral bankrupt venal louche who would pretty much be the singular reason for any popular revolution? Instead he has people revolting to keep him in power. Nice work if you can find it.
