Rebalance balik portfolio pelaburan menuju 2nd half of the year. Banyak lagi kena belajar ni.
Guna simple excel saja. Just nak track balik the assets especially in term of growth.

Sebab apa saya keep on tracking my portfolio? Sebab nak kira berapa amount zakat.
Hujung tahun ni best nak update sebab nanti ada dividend ASB. Something that I look forward to.
Since double or even triple up my zakat ada dalam 2021 resolution, so memang kena kerja keras on this. Hustle hard! 💪

But how much is enough for your retirement?

10k? 50k? 100k? 1million?...
Basically, benda ni agak subjektif tetapi saya cuba bagi relation between the amount and time after retirement.
First, kita cuba relate dengan life expectancy.

Bila kita tengok grafik di bawah, life expectancy adalah sekitar 80 tahun.

Katakanlah kita retire umur 55 tahun, kita ada lebih kurang 25 tahun hidup tanpa income lepas persaraan.

You're financially free when your passive income=expenses.

Meaning that, if your expenses are RM5000 per month, you need to gain RM5000 per month passively.
To give you a clear idea of being financially free. If your expenses are RM5000 ( RM60k per year).

If you put your money in a fixed deposit with a return of 3% per year, you need to have RM2 million.
But the problem here is that, when you have RM2 million, will your monthly expenses be RM5000 per month? 🤔

Selalu kita dengar orang sebut POSITION SIZING. Apakah maksudnya?

#saham
Investopedia : Position sizing refers to the number of units invested in a particular security by an investor or trader. An investor's account size and risk tolerance should be taken into account when determining appropriate position sizing.
Bahasa mudah, position sizing ni melibatkan jumlah bukan sahaja duit tetapi unit yang kita sediakan untuk membeli sesuatu saham.

Kita selalu dengar perkataan 'Focus long term' in investment. How long is long actually? Any answer?
Banyak reply yang menarik sebenarnya. Ada yang relate dengan saham such as sampai target price, ada yang relate dengan masa 5,10 tahun etc.

My definition for long term.....
Long term for me is the retirement.

Mid term is when I've target for example in 5 years, I want to have certain amount of money to buy something.

Short term is on daily, weekly or monthly basis. Well for short term, I prefer rely on active income instead of passive income.
