1.Just some observations about budgets and how people react to it especially general public. I think reaction is never *positive* because of lack of understanding. I followed budgets of Nawaz gvt and even PPP. During PPP govt media wasn't as hostile as it is now obviously
2.The only positive sentiment you would see in general public is among those who are govt employees(1-16 scale) only if their salaries have gone up significantly. Otherwise u will only hear negative about it from a common man(Any budget). hard 2 make ppl understand that it is...
3.Impossible for govt to actually go backward in the yrs (like a time machine). i.e the commodity(imported) prices cnt b equal 2 Musharaf's time because inflation is a worldwide phenomenon. Every yr price of certain items will go up. Price of doing hajj in 2021 cant be equal 2...
4. Price of doing hajj in 2015 or even 2019. Having said that, govt must also work on lowering prices of items which are locally produced lyk flour, suger and rice. AND Gvt employees must stop thinking tht its compulsion on gvt to increase salaries coz its not. #Budget2021

Thread: 1. I see Jiyalas doing a lot of fake propaganda on @Plant4Pak#BillionTreeTsunami asking where are the trees in KP. Starting with my hometown Dera Ismail Khan where MPA @FaisalAminKhan has led it brilliantly. Started in 2015 and now it's a full-grown forest. @InsafPK

1-We hear n see every Tom Dick and Harry in Pakistan point out GDP figure to raise fingers at @ImranKhanPTI@PTIofficial govt. This thread will prove to u that GDP is not the only indicator of a sustainable econ, actually, it provides an incomplete picture; here is how👇
2-a)GDP tracks aggregate economy,nt sensitive to gains and losses of economic activity within society; b)It doesn't account for the depletion of existing natural, physical, human n social assets; c)GDP doesn't track factors tht matter for well being of society. So How shud we?👇
3-We must look at HDI (Human Development Index) which has become a widely accepted measure of human progress since the 1990s. Here, the latest figures of HDI+ relevant factors in Pakistan which have only kept improving in @PTIofficial govt despite diffic times👇 @agentjay2009
