So I emailed @PinkNews about their use of Bisexual Men Exist on their shirts and asked them to remove it.
They essentially said no. This was their response.
Don’t ever engage with Pink News.
Here’s the thing though. They have been credited in various places for the creation of the hashtag.
So making a shirt like this will make it look like part of their creation.
Further to that, Pink News DOES NOT support the Bi community. Not through their work, not through their charitable donations.
Speak to any grassroots Bi org, that’s what they’ll tell you.
Why didn’t they report on the hashtag then? Why didn’t they report on the shirts made by @RainbowandCoUK? What about the billboard made by @we_are_biscuit?
But then they made these.
They do this for profit and clout. But they don’t support Bi people. Not one bit. So get the fuck out of here.
I have muted this for now because I need to find some calm. But trust me, I won’t be taking this lying down.

The shirts I’ve made with @RainbowandCoUK, I don’t get a cut. I never sought one or asked for one. I don’t want one.
I made those shirts SPECIFICALLY to help Bi orgs get money AND support a very inclusive LGBTQ+ business.
So when @PinkNews, an LGBTQ+ media organisation, decides to ignore my requests to cover the hashtag campaign and the shirts that were a part of that.
Only to follow that up with the OWN shirts with the same slogan with NO money going to Bi orgs…naturally, I’m going to be mad!
#BisexualMenExist was made FOR the community. The shirts were an extension of that. It was to increase visibility, to have Bi men help Bi men who may be struggling.
The shirts were to help raise funds for organisations who were doing the work but are often underfunded!
