(🆚) MAJOR ROGER STONE EXPOSÉ: PROOF has just published the most comprehensive analysis ever of Roger Stone's changing alibis for January 6. This review confirms Stone is lying about what he did—when, why, and how. @FBI take note. Please share this widely. sethabramson.substack.com/p/roger-stone-…
1/ I was a defense lawyer for years—also a criminal investigator in the federal justice system. It's not just that Stone's a convicted felon, pathological liar and self-dubbed "dirty trickster"; no review of these facts would suggest to an LEO anything but consciousness of guilt.
2/ This article tracks—and decimates—every alibi Stone has provided for where he was on January 6, and why and when. The WASHINGTON POST reported in February that the FBI was investigating Stone, Alex Jones, and Ali Alexander for their roles in January 6. It never dove this deep.
3/ A review of Stone's changing alibis strongly suggests that he may have foreknowledge of what was going to happen at the Capitol. This PROOF exposé outlines—and substantiates, with proof—every possible source this foreknowledge could have come from, based on Stone's movements.
4/ As an attorney and former investigator, I know that even a *single* lie in a case fact-pattern becomes a focus for investigators. Stone has told *dozens* of lies, and they all center on the same subjects:

🔺 Alex Jones
🔺 The Oath Keepers
🔺 The Willard Hotel
🔺 Donald Trump
5/ More specifically, Stone's lies focus on one *subject*: how he knew not to leave the grounds of the Willard Hotel on the *morning* of January 6—before anything had happened, anywhere in DC, that should have given him any apprehension about doing so.

This is part of a pattern.
6/ PROOF previously reported (exclusively) on the bizarre tale of Trump mega-donor Bubba Saulsbury, a Texas oligarch who reports have linked to Russ Ramsland's shady efforts to over the election. On January 5, Saulsbury was at an intimate gathering at Mike Pence's mansion in DC.
7/ Bubba Saulsbury had posted on Facebook (PROOF published the screenshots) about how excited—thrilled, even—he was to go to the Ellipse and to the Capitol afterward. So thrilled! Then he met with Pence on the evening of January 5.

And he fled Washington. Immediately. He *fled*.
8/ This pattern repeats over and over in reviewing the actions of the kingpins of the insurrection—including not just Trump (who famously lied about going to the Capitol after the Secret Service had already told him he couldn't) but Stone.

They were *never* going to the Capitol.
9/ This PROOF article offers evidence never before reported on suggesting that Stone either visited or had intel from Trump's "war room" (Eastman), "communications [center]" (Eastman), or "command center" (Oltmann) at the Willard Hotel, where Stone was staying on January 5 and 6.
10/ An unfortunate slip-up by domestic terror leader Ali Alexander in introducing Stone at Freedom Plaza on January 5 links Stone to Trump's "legal team," which was meeting in secret mere *steps* from Stone's Willard hotel room (with known Stone friends inside it) on January 5/6.
11/ So when it became clear—over months of insurrection research—that Stone was specifically lying about *what he was doing inside the Willard and with whom he met while there*, the revelation that Trump's command center was in the building, steps from Stone, changed everything.
12/ Like all PROOF reports, this is part of a larger curation. Tomorrow and Thursday's new PROOF reports—the former a critical followup to a recent report, the latter a breaking-news report that I just need more time with—will underscore what Trump's Willard "war room" was *for*.
13/ When you understand what the Willard war room was for, you see that it differed in a key respect from the Trump International "war house"—the Trump Townhouse—news of which PROOF exclusively broke. The latter was, in major part, a lobbying site. The Willard was for operations.
14/ Federal investigations—under the best of circumstances—can often take years. The January 6 investigation is politically charged, historically complex, and involves individuals so powerful that it's not clear that the FBI has the institutional gumption to hold them to account.
15/ I want to thank the PROOF community—which just reached 40,000 members, on only the 5-month anniversary of the publication's birth—for following along (and often contributing in significant ways, via comments/leads) as PROOF (with many others) do work the FBI is not now doing.

(🆚) BREAKING NEWS: The revelation, at PROOF, of the seventh participant in Trump's January 6 Willard Hotel "war room" has led to the discovery of a strange-but-critical narrative that will change how you see January 6. Please share widely; more in thread. sethabramson.substack.com/p/breaking-new…
1/ This is the longest article ever published at PROOF; it'll probably forever be the longest article published at PROOF. It's the most complex article ever published at PROOF; it'll probably forever be the most complex article published at PROOF. You won't see where it's going.
2/ That last part is important: I need to promise you, in advance, that you do *not* know where this article is headed until you get to its fulcrum point—you'll know the one—which comes after you've already done a *lot* of reading. You'll say "WTF???" out loud, almost guaranteed.

The seventh member of Trump's January 6 Willard Hotel war room will be revealed later on today at PROOF. More importantly, discovering the identity of this person led me to what is undoubtedly the wildest true story ever told about the insurrection. Stay tuned to my pinned tweet.
(UPDATE) Still working on it. Still aiming to release it this PM. This is the wildest thing I've ever written. I'm hoping the comment fields will be active here/at PROOF. This story is so bizarre that I'm almost desperate to have as many people weigh in on it as humanly possible.
(PS) I'm not messing around. Anyone who reads this story will respond "WTF!" I've been saying those words to myself the whole time I've been trying to write this up. My current model to tell the story is "five-act play"—because I don't know what else to do. So no—I'm not playing.

(🆚) BREAKING: New January 6 Willard Hotel "War Room" Participant Confirmed; Revelation May Implicate Trump's DHS in Insurrection

We're getting a clear view of who was in Trump's January 6 command center, and what they did there. Please share this widely. sethabramson.substack.com/p/breaking-new…
1/ This breaking news was the byproduct of—no exaggeration—*hundreds* of citizen journalists converging on a single pressing issue related to the insurrection and providing PROOF with hundreds of pages of documents and websites and photos to review. This is the tip of an iceberg.
2/ When I reported on Joe Oltmann being in the Willard Hotel war room—and PROOF will have a major follow-up on Oltmann shortly—I couldn't figure out how Team Trump had such ready access to DHS secretary Chad Wolf *in the midst of* an armed attack on the U.S. Capitol. Now we know.

BREAKING (forecast only; story to come): PROOF now has video evidence insurrectionist capo Alex Jones wasn't just at the Willard January 5—he was there January 6 also. I have so many PROOF articles to write now. Upshot—there's a reason Stone's story on the Willard keeps changing.
(PS) Remember, Jones's claim is he never met up with Stone in DC. It seemed really important for Jones to say that on-air, and for Stone to lie about "never leaving his room" at the Willard. Man, do I have photos of him "outside his room." Many articles coming to PROOF this week.
(PS2) I expect PROOF to break news every day this week. There's so much to write—so much evidence that's flooded in—that I can't even write it all up ASAP. I have to move sequentially. Bobb is first, then likely an Oltmann follow-up, then a Stone/Jones exposé. Be patient with me.

Folks, we're getting close to an ID. Skirt match, boots match, weight match, hair match, nose match, eyebrow match, complexion match, haircut match, height match—now evidence she was working with Rudy's legal team. Which was headquartered...at the Willard. thedailybeast.com/oan-host-chris…
PS/ Joe Oltmann actually said that it was "Rudy's legal team" that dominated the suite of offices in the Willard Hotel on 1/6. The Daily Beast is now reporting that Christina Robb was *part* of that legal team. And this is before all the visual identification matches we now have.
PS2/ There's a real possibility now that a certain OAN anchor just became one of the most important witnesses in the January 6 investigation. If we want to know who Ali Alexander spoke with at DHS on December 21—and I know I do—I know the first former DHS employee I'd be calling.

(🆚) BREAKING NEWS: New Member of Trump's January 6 Willard Hotel "War Room" Revealed; Discovery Leads to Revelation of a National Security Scandal

The details of this are harrowing, and have not been reported elsewhere. I hope you will share this widely. sethabramson.substack.com/p/breaking-new…
1/ I am at a loss as to how much I can or should say about this story here. The story is bizarre, complicated, and consequential. There is still much we don't know—and urgently need to know—but there is enough here to require an immediate investigation by Congress and the FBI.
2/ The evidence that we presently have is that Trump organized a "communications command center" at the Willard Hotel to act as a "war room" during the insurrection, which war room saw 25 to 30 people inside it as the U.S. Capitol was attacked. We know 5 of those people so far.
