Income Tax Slabs during Indira Gandhi Times :

For 10 lakhs income, Tax was 9.33 Lakhs
For 5 Lakhs income, the tax was 4.45 Lakhs

This means whatever you earn belongs to the govt.

This was the foundation of the Black money generation. Image
The average inflation rate during Indira Gandhi's 15-year tenure was 20%.

Bank Interest rates were 18%

That is how the Dynasty ruled.

That is why they installed just 16 GW of power in the first 30 years of rule. Everything got taxed including Radio.
No jobs after passing out.
People looked to get scholarships & go abroad.
7 years wait to get a scooter, telephone, gas, phone.

Licence Raj was bolstering Crony Capitalism.

Inequality was widening to highest level.

A bag of cement used to cost Rs 200/- at that time.

Those were the Days of the Dynasty

Massive Scam and Financial Misappropriation by TMC Government Uncovered by CAG

a.CAG has uncovered massive financial misappropriation and potential scams worth almost ₹2 lakh crores by the Mamata Govt in West Bengal.
b.CAG publishes State Finances Audit Report on every govt body regularly. The State Finances Audit Report for West Bengal for the year ending March 2021 was published last year by the CAG.
c.This report has uncovered practices by the TMC government that may lead to significant irregularities and potential fraud, misappropriation, and embezzlement of funds totaling to more than ₹2 lakh crores.
d.The irregularities flagged by CAG include deliberate delay in utilization certificates, unaccounted contingency spendings, and thousands of crores in ‘personal deposit’ accounts!
₹1.95 lakh ‘Missing’ Utilisation Certificates Scam

a. CAG report has revealed a complete lack of transparency in managing government funds by the Mamata Banerjee government.
b. Utilisation certificates are an essential part of government fund allocations. Any funds that are provided to government agencies for specific purposes must be accounted for by providing utilization certificates within 1 year of the allocation of funds.
c. This certificate essentially guarantees that the funds earmarked for specific projects/schemes were indeed used towards that.
d.Since 2021, Mamata Banerjee government has failed to provide more than 2.4 lakh Utilisation Certificates amounting to more than ₹Rs 1.95 lakh crores
e.Without Utilisation certificates, CAG could not ascertain whether public money used was indeed for the purpose it was allocated to by the state legislature.
f.Essentially Mamata Banerjee government has not divulged for what purposes it spent ₹1.95 lakh crores on and despite multiple reminders for CAG on the same, it has refused to issue these certificates.

USA media investigation reveals NewsClick is funded by China to do propaganda in India.

Can @abhisar_sharma explain the remittance received by @newsclickin classified as FDI of Rs 9.59 cr from April 2018, and another of Rs 20.92 cr, shown as receipts for "export of services"?
Image

China financed money to Newsclick to create a media narrative in favor of Beijing’s interest in India Image
The email exchanges between Newsclick& their Chinese handlers in the public domain establish beyond doubt that these people are not journalists but dealers. It is high time that this manufactured consensus of anti-national, anti-democratic agenda is set to rest. Image

It is hard to believe any report coming from Oxfam whose credibility has tanked (under investigation for FCRA violations, taking partisan positions on different political matters) and that publishes a report based on inadequate research and void of valid data sources. (1/n)
Oxfam is also known for interfering in political matters & energy security through well planned and executed protests. Recently, it protested outside the European Parliament under hashtag #FoodNotFuel and amplified it through various media vehicles. (2/n)

Oxfam’s fingerprints are also evident in some of the anti-development campaigns through social media and physical protests in the name of climate change. (3/n)

39 tonnes of GOLD worth Rs19,500 crores was bought by the Indian Middle class in one single day on #Dhanteras

30% YoY increase in the sales of white goods during the festive season.

All Car showrooms are empty as they don't have cars to sell. Even their Demo cars got sold off.
This demonstrates the purchasing power of the Indian Middle-class as the Indian Super rich and HNI do not buy Physical gold anymore as they have shifted to buying Digital gold sold by RBI which fetches them 2.5% interest.

This kind of Festive spending has never been seen before
