Greenwald joins Fox News’ 1/6 Truther Movement #clowns
This is exactly the same shit Alex Jones has done for decades. “Look we’re just raising questions about whether the FBI really did the attack on the Capitol! Stop silencing me! I’m just ASKING QUESTIONS.”

This is conspiracy theorist 101.
“The FBI controls the media and that’s why they don’t want you to entertain our theories that they secretly committed the 1/6 attack” is Greenwald’s entire thesis, which is indistinguishable from what Alex Jones has been saying about 9/11 for the last decade. Welcome to bottom.

I spent years covering Alex Jones and the way he grew his support base. This is identical. Can’t wait for Glenn to start selling brain pills “they” don’t want you to have.

Fantasy novel writing update. Took a few days off, back on the wagon today.

3,044 words today. 24,576 total of a projected 100,000 *fingers crossed*.

Got through one of my "nobody wants this, just quit" moments, so hoping to get at least 1k a day for the weekend.
im only on bullet 11 of my 35-bullet outline, so even with my incessant self-editing i feel somewhat optimistic about the word count.

for me, i just keep using each point for a "here i go, bullshitting" jumping off point and i hope it all eventually connects.
i also started sketching out an outline for a future, future story thats basically "George Washington... in SPACEEEEEEEEEEE" :P

people like steve, who pushed lies like "obama wants to teach toddlers sex" that catered to fox and relied on fox to push them out in 2008, never reckon with their own role in building this. fox did not emerge overnight in 2016. guys like schmidt helped build it.
the perverse ad in question schmidt signed off on during the 2008 campaign. and it wasn't just this ad. but this was the tone of that campaign people look at through rose-colored glasses, long before trump was a thing.
yes i hold grudges against the people who have built this all up from the 90's till '16 and i detest the whitewashing of it all, like this all sprang forth from trump's escalator ride.

Just some recent hard data before people get too excited over *another* well done and for a democrat running in a *very* red state.
I'm all for Democrats running everywhere but I will never understand this impulse to throw millions into uphill fights every two years but not investing long term in things like media and organizing so those fights have a better chance at a victory.
Just because we all rightly hate her I have no idea why you would bet against a Huckabee in Arkansas with Trump on her resume

you all watch way too much cable news. seriously. way too much. rottens your brain. trust me, i did it professionally. doing it voluntarily is madness.
and the way liberals on here talk about the cable hosts, like theyre your family. cmon, turn it off. and yes, i mean all of em not just fox. all of em, cnn, msnbc. the whole kit n kaboodle.
i guarantee you that a quick scroll through a news feed - twitter, facebook even, or esp rss - and you'll know everything that was on cable news in the last 24 hours. and probably much more.
