As anyone who fellows Glenn knows, it gets incredibly tiring keeping up with all his casual, constant lies/half-truths/dishonesty. In fact, even though it seems like I post about him constantly, I probably passed on tweeting out like 5-7 instances just this past week alone.
But permit me to share a perfect example of his casual dishonesty, since it's currently his header image.
So Glenn's fav. narrative is that the Dems just lovee the CIA/FBI and that explains all of their behavior. And he constantly posts this one chart (or at least this snippet)
He loves it so much that he even made it his header (which is extremely weird, but I guess not as weird as the picture of Liz Cheney that used to be there).
He posts it constantly as a 'trump card' for his world-view. Here's him a month ago stating these #s matter of factly.
But when you look closer at this data that he loves to cite, you notice, hey this is over 3 years old. Strange. There's no way that this is the most up to date data on this 'pivotal' narrative-supporting claim Glem constantly points to.
So I looked it up and surprise! Of course there is a more recent version of this pew survey. Still out of date but its the most recent they have polled this same question. And as you can see, the partisan gaps are much less stark (& in the case of the CIA, almost non-existent).
So why would Glem cite this one piece of out-of-date data, that confirms his priors (so much so that he made it his header image) and quote it matter-of-factly to own the libs, instead of the more up to date numbers that don't provide such an easy narrative?
It's a mystery.
TL;DR- @ggreenwald purposely uses old data to disingenuously support his narrative. Cites it constantly, including on Tucker but purposely ignores more accurate, up to date data that does not easily confirm his priors. As a real journalist does.
(sorry, thought this was included in the infographic but the 'up to date' data is from Sept 2019 vs. Glenn's constantly cited data which is from Feb. 2018)

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to

So Morris Katz threatened (former campaign political director) Genevieve McDonald before she came forward. Jesus Christ man...
What a piece of shit.
You can pretty much tell exactly who is involved with the campaign (in ways they have not disclosed publicly) because they all immediately pushed out the exact same, "this story is REALLY about Genevieve McDonald. Shame on her. How DARE she??"
i just want to say i got it a bit wrong....it's actually WAY more dishonest than it appeared at first.
I was only shown a snippet of an FEC report but luckily a follower who actually understands this stuff sent me all the reports and Annie has actually been on the campaign payroll much longer than I initially thought. Seems like she's been there since day 1. Just from the FEC disbursements alone, she's already made like $15,000 off the campaign. And I'm sure much more now.

"I never lied, I just never told anyone and tweeted out like I was unbiased party."
This is essentially no different than lying. It's a lie by omission.
There are a bunch of campaigns in Annie's profile but she willfully left this out. Because she was LYING by omission.
Really scummy, disingenuous stuff. The opposite of 'transparency.'
So when Annie was tweeting stuff like this, she was literally being paid by the campaign.
I am not a politics expert, but that seems pretty dishonest to me!
Frankly, it's fairly obvious that there are a lot of people who are financially involved with the Platner (and Steyer) campaign, without disclosing it.
The reason he 'survived' his uhhh scandals is because there were too many people financially invested in the campaign. All the consultants and influencers had money in this. The Katz Agency alone is going to bank millions on this shit.
There was too much money involved for people to bow out, despite obvious disqualifying things being disqualifying.
On a day where the current president of the united states (age 79) walked out wit his grotesquely disfigured hand, bragged for the 10th time about taking his dementia test and did an Orwellian purge of Jan. 6th, what is this muppet focused on?
Of course, for the 150th time, how right he was about Joe Biden Old. This is basically mental illness.
This guy, after making Presidential Age/Cognitive Fitness the SOLE issue of the last presidency, has gone the past 2 years just completely ignoring Trump. Like a fucking caricature. Literally started a podcast to talk about 'anything but Trump.'
And after getting tons of pushback for his head-in-the-sand avoidance, he promised that he would 'gladly' call it out if it ever became an issue with Trump.
And......that was a lie. Never misses a chance to relive his glory days of Biden Old, as Trump's brain is completely gone and he has various unexplained health problems.
Had a great day in DC yesterday and crashed hard when I got home, so here are some of my thoughts on the PA-03 race.
1. The outcome was not really that surprising. I thought Rabb would probably win with a divided field. He got a little more of the vote share (44% to 'progressives' and 48% to the 'mods') than I expected but it was basically the same dynamic.
2. The turnout was just pathetic. 21% of eligible voters voted in the primary. Average voters were just not at all tuned in (and probably barely even knew there was an election).
Low turnout in a blue environment is the type of race the left/progressives THRIVE in.
3. Rabb way outspent the other candidates. They had the 'big money' advantage. His ads were everywhere. All over TV...you couldn't watch anything without seeing his ads towards the end of the race.
I also got tons of mailers for Rabb and maybe 1-2 combined for the other 2 candidates.
Just getting your name/face out there in a low turnout primary is a massive advantage.
Again, zero mention of the fact that Maine is the whitest state in the country. Alex doesn't want to mention it because it makes the state look bad and as a Real Salt of the Earth Mainer (who moved there a few years ago) he's extremely defensive about it.
Instead it's 'authenticity and realness'...with no mention that the 'authenticity' was completely manufactured by DC Consultants and turned in to a very, very well funded (again by outside money) ad campaign creating the 'realness.'
That doesn't mesh with The Narrative.
The attention economy stuff is spot on but also zero mention that the Pod Save America guys, who helped him moved past it, were very obviously a part of the campaign push.
Anyway, it's so great to have the same horse race journalism slop that emanates from every soulless DC politico journo hack, but on a local level.
Every single post on this lady's timeline is just "wahhh old people. wahhhh The Establishment"
So sick of this lady who turned an organization that was supposed to 'inspire' people to run for office (an objectively good thing) into yet another org that focuses on nothing but factional/internescant anti-Dem struggles.
