A group of 18 talented women will make up the grid along with five reserve drivers. The championship didn’t happen in 2020 so we’re excited to see what happens with some new faces on the grid too!
The British driver races in @ExtremeELive, is part of the @WilliamsRacing family and won two races in 2019. Chadwick was also the first female to win a @BritishGT Championship, so has shown a lot of talent!
The next driver is @AbbieEaton44 who is one of the new faces on the grid for 2021 🏳️🌈
In 2019 she finished third in the championship and was the first woman to score points in GP3 in 2012. You also see Alice trackside as a driver coach and commentating 😎
The 27-year-old won the F1600 Championship Series (USA) in 2014. Her dream is to race in the #Indy500, and came one step closer when she was a spotter for @ParettaSport this year!
Dutch driver @beitskevisser returns to W Series to fight for more podiums after finishing runner up in 2019.
She is a Richard Mille driver in @FIAWEC, making history in an all-female team competing in the LMP2 category at the @24heuresdumans 💪
21-year-old @belengarciaes is another newcomer to the championship.
In 2019 she raced in the Spanish F4 Championship, and was the first female to win an F4 race in Europe at the second round. If Garcia isn’t at a race track then you will find her pole vaulting! 🙌
In 2017 she raced in the Audi Sport TT Cup and has competed in @FerrariRaces - including becoming the first woman to win a race outright for the Coppa Shell class.
She also raced in the 2021 @24hNBR alongside nine other women 🔥
28-year-old @GosiaRdest is another one of the talented drivers.
She was karting professionally by the age of 16 & has competed in many races like @BritishF4, Audi Sport TT Cup and ADAC TCR Germany.
She will be racing in the first two rounds at Austria. 👏
She’s the youngest on the grid and finished third place in the W Series iRacing championship last year. She also competes with @SMP_Racing, and has achieved two podiums in Russian F4 🇷🇺
Making up one of five Brit’s on the grid, @1JessicaHawkins is returning for another year.
Jess was recently made an ambassador for @AstonMartinF1 & has been a stunt driver for the next James Bond film! 🏎️
Previously, she competed in the FIA F4 Japanese Championship. She’s shown some great pace in the 2019 championship and her top finish was fourth so we imagine she wants to get on that podium! 👀
She is a proud ambassador for @RacingPrideHQ and became the Junior Ginetta champion in 2009. She’s also been awarded the @BRDCSilverstone Rising Star status ⭐️
To finish off our thread, @VickyPiria is completing the grid 🇮🇹
The Italian was the first female to compete in GP3 in 2012, and has raced in Euro Formula 3. She finished ninth in 2019 and on the side of racing she is a driving instructor 😎
