''While studying for my M.Sc., I did some back breaking but legitimate jobs that you can't even imagine.
At a point, na to wash dedi-bodi naim remain.
I wasn't the first and won't be the last to do those kinda jobs.
Working as a bartender, tips were silver
linings. No matter how small, those tips supported my life and study in ways I can't write here. They helped me keep my head above water.
Tips given to service providers hasn't been in our culture. I understand Nigeria hasn't been easy to any of us. It might not be easy going
forward sef.
But you see that N20, N50, N100, N200 you give to a waiter, cab driver, front cashier or security man is like adding to buying bread for the kids next day school, completing the money to buy baby milk, adding to securing a basket of garri, cup of rice or beans for
that person.
One plus one, sometimes pass two.
Tip someone, it will make you and them happy.
As you tip, put a respectful smile a gratitude to it. Make tipping a worthy thing to do, no matter how small it is.
In all thy tipping, be the joy to someone's hustle. Tipping is like
unconditional giving.
Ecclesiastes 11:¹
"Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”

''Speak out.....
Benito Mussolini Italian Prime Minister in the 30s rose to power democratically.Gradually his dictatorial tendencies started showing up, those who should have spoken out against it kept quiet.Within 5 years he consolidated power and silenced the entire opposition
Dictators dont just rise in a day, they rise gradually, testing the waters and accessing the strength of the opposition and civil society. They start by destroying the judiciary and having a grip of the law in their hands, next they trump up charges against those who disagree
with them and imprison them using kangaroo courts, self implanted judges or detain those they disagree with indefinitely without trial.
Next they go after the press, they jail journalist, in some cases people start missing, next and the most dangerous part of it, they start

Buhari’s govt deficient in terms of critical thinking — Prof Dankofa, ABU
This administration is so deficient in terms of critical thinking that it does not know what to do. Five years in the saddle and what we have is a blame game and unnecessary sloganeering. The leadership is
slow and imbued with a docile mentality. It is not business-minded. Under him, the security infrastructure has collapsed and bandits and other criminal elements are having a field day.Insecurity has become so palpable that criminals are now very daring. The spate of kidnappings
in the county is so alarming that no foreign investor will see Nigeria as a potential investment destination or terrain. Some major highways and other flashpoints have even been ceded to criminals and it is as if the government does not even have the solution. Some examples are

North Is Only Interested In Power, Nothing Else -Professor Yusuf Dankofa
“I think the north is only interested in power and nothing more. The sweetness of power and the allure it brings is what appeals to them and not work. If not, how can a region be so decimated by its own
internal contradictions and trudge on as if the region is not regressing.
”In the face of calamity, what you see is eerie silence, since power is with their elites who are thoroughly dependent on public treasury to survive.
”The poor too draws happiness from the fact that power
is in the hands of their elites even if they will die of poverty and insurgency.
”We are happy that power is with us even though we don’t know what to do with it. This mindset will definitely lead others to seek to move out of the union. You can’t slow down your own progress and

BIDEN BINS DESPERATE BUHARI AS NIGERIA BURNS
By Emma Nwaneri
Over the weekend, respected columnist & ex-Editorial Board chairman of Guardian newspaper, Sonala Olumhense *confirmed a story that was making the rounds in Washington DC newsrooms all of last week. It was that the US
President Joe Biden and his Vice, Kamala Harris were avoiding a zoom meeting with Nigeria’s President Buhari; and that the Biden Administration had little interest in series of requests for help by Buhari to deal with growing insecurity & loss of lives and property in Nigeria.
In the words of Olumhense; “..Buhari could not get a meeting with Vice-President Kamala Harris, let alone Mr. Biden. He could not speak with either official even by telephone, although both had in March spoken to the leaders of Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo and President
