Do not be fooled by any company pushing “civilian MRE’s” or “same as military “ THEY ARE NOT. Most have an entree, carb & drink. But most importantly they are 500-1000 calories less than milspec MRE’s cuz they lack the side snack, spread & dessert 🚫🚫👇🏼

These are what military MRE’s look like. And each MRE contains anywhere from 1400-2000 calories

The best way to buy them is buy 2 case lots. An A menu. And a B menu. 24 MRE’s total. This will run you $130-$180 for BOTH cases

if you’re in the market check out Amazon every day because a few days ago someone had both cases for $119 & that’s a great deal.

But before you invest in fancy-schmancy prepper food I recommend doing a couple 3-cart grocery runs at Costco & Walmart. Canned food. Staples. Buy a Food Saver & some bags. Even getting a chest freezer is a great idea. You can store 2-3 months worth of meat in a $300 freezer
