Your Green New Deal future: fantastically expensive electric cars the middle class can't afford, subsidized by taxes the middle class is forced to pay - but even rich people can't use them all the time because the junk "green power grid" can't handle charging them.
I absolutely guarantee you this ends with confused six-figure-income folks standing next to inert electric cars that cost five times as much as Honda Civics used to, while their political overlords cruise by in reliable gas-powered vehicles that are now forbidden to the masses.
Electric cars just never made sense as anything but an expensive indulgence for virtue-signalers with loads of disposable income - and even then, they survive only by looting taxpayers for huge subsidies. It's just logistically impossible for them to "replace" gas cars.
Maybe someday all the technologies involved will advance to the point where electric cars are truly feasible, but we're verging on science fiction: postulating batteries with astounding capacity, service life, and charging speed, coupled with a far more powerful electric grid.
Instead, our power grid is getting weaker by indulging crackpot green energy schemes from politically-connected corporations and the radical greens who stuff taxpayer loot into their pockets. We're already seeing the first evidence the grid can't handle mass electric vehicle use.
Even if we dump solar and wind junk for reliable nuclear power - and that's just about politically impossible - the infrastructure for mass EV charging doesn't exist. With current tech, you'll never see a charging experience comparable to filling up at the corner gas station.
EVs kinda-sorta work as a niche indulgence for people with loads of money to burn, and even then only when taxpayers are robbed blind to subsidize them, but as soon as they're anything but an expensive hobby, the price of electricity soars and power shortages ensue.
What you're really being prepared for, Americans, is a future where only a wealthy few have long-range personal transportation, and only the socialist elite have reliable gas-powered ground and air travel at their disposal. The rest of you will STOP MOVING so much.
The people who want to plan and control your lives are very distressed that you can easily move around to escape them. They would rather you clump into cities where you can be monitored, and use mass long-range transportation that runs when and where they say it does.
Not enough of you would willingly buy electric cars, even with obscene subsidies, so you'll be forced to. And then you'll discover you can't use them, because you can't afford to charge or maintain them. The cost per mile of personal transportation will skyrocket.
Notice how electric vehicles are no longer sold with dimwitted ads talking about how you don't have to pay for gas so driving them is almost "free." Now it's all about green guilt - portraying gas cars as irresponsible and electric vehicles as a civic duty - plus futurism.
It's all about making EVs look super cool, the wave of the future, the chariots of a brave new world - but the reality is increasingly clear: they're expensive baubles you can't afford to use, including the opportunity cost of the time it takes to charge them. /end

The grassroots rebellion against Critical Race Theory must be the beginning of a movement, not its culmination. It's not enough to pressure a corrupt system into grudgingly withdrawing its latest attempt at twisted left-wing ideological indoctrination. Go after the system itself.
Parents need to understand they cannot win an endless war of attrition against the corrupt teachers unions and left-wing academia. They pump garbage into your kids for years; you finally realize what's going on and fight for a whole election cycle to stop them; they start again.
CRT is just repackaged Marxist theory. It's already been repackaged more often than a stale fruitcake re-gifted for seven Christmases in a row. Win the war against CRT and they'll just try again. They're probably already working on the next iteration.

Democrats haven't changed their minds about Voter ID. They're just grudgingly admitting that they haven't been able to trick or intimidate the American people out of supporting it. Tactics are shifting, but the goal of rigging elections forever remains.
Dems console themselves with the knowledge that Voter ID is another government program they can subvert, another bureaucracy they'll be able to capture and corrupt over time. They'll grudgingly, bitterly give a little ground on Voter ID to get other concessions they want.
The original plan to replace the American electorate through mass migration is still very much in play and picking up steam. Voter ID won't matter much, once the migrant waves are legalized or some farcical "voter ID for undocumented Americans" is cooked up.

If the Western world meant what it says about press freedom, Beijing would be warned that no Chinese government publication or social media account in the free world would survive one day longer than Apple Daily in Hong Kong.
It's long past time to get serious about information warfare with the Chinese Communist Party. It is absolutely absurd to let any Chinese official use any social media platform that is forbidden to Chinese citizens. Shut them all down, along with every CCP bot network.
Let Beijing know that if Apple Daily is choked out of existence for supposedly "colluding" with foreign governments - by talking to them and quoting Western politicians - then every CCP publication will be held to the same standard and summarily destroyed.

The thing about the Ashli Babbitt case is that we just spent the past year, and much of the previous decade, establishing that cops are not automatically justified in using lethal force against someone committing a crime - not even if they resist arrest or attack the cops.
There is a vast disconnect between the white-hot debate over police use of force in 2020, and post-Ferguson, and shrugging off Babbitt's death with "eh, she was involved in a riot, clean shoot, we don't even have to know who shot her or exactly why."
Before Jan. 6, we left off our Great National Debate on the use of force with the Abolish the Police Party insisting it scarcely matters what a suspect was doing when the police used force against them. The biography of the suspect and records of the cops are more important.

The point of all this, stretching back to the beginnings of the war on sexual identity in the 60s, is dehumanization. It's a concerted political effort to rewrite human nature, to destroy the natural bond between men and women so they don't form families independent of the State.
The Left has always understood that you have to destroy something before you can rebuild it. This applies to human nature too. The quest to create New Soviet Man, a more hive-minded human more useful to collectivist, begins with demolishing the old understanding of human nature.
This particular element of human nature, our sexuality, also ties into the Left's conviction that humanity is a virus and population growth is evil - especially among the hated Middle Class, which under racialized Marxism has been redefined as the "white Middle Class."

DNC Media's Pyongyang-style obsession with painting Biden as defeating Putin is some of the worst garbage reporting yet. Putin mopped the floor with Biden, and everyone on Earth outside of U.S. newsrooms knows it. Putin was ENJOYING HIMSELF. It was a romp.
Our media is trying to get its bunks rocking by fantasizing about Biden giving Putin a firm handshake. The enduring moments of this meeting, the things that will be noted and remembered around the world, are Biden in retreat, submissive and confused, backing down from his hype.
Biden helplessly pleading with Putin not to cyberattack vital infrastructure targets. Biden nodding dumbly when asked if he trusts Putin, after all that bluster about putting the "killer" in his place. Putin getting pipeline and arms concessions while the U.S. gets nothing.
