However, relationship based care has suffered both during the #Covid19 pandemic and due to longer term issues, such as growing workload & workforce pressures and changes in the way primary care is delivered in the modern landscape...
This has made it more challenging to develop & maintain strong GP-patient relationships which is impacting on GP job satisfaction... at the @rcgp we want to reinvigorate relationship based care to support GPs in doing more of what they do best...
To effectively do this, an environment in which there is time and resources to deliver effective relationship based care must be created. We will continue to work with policy makers, health experts, and GPs to identify change levers and strengthen #relationshipbasedcare
