Since Jan 6, Koch Industries has been the top corporate PAC donor to the ‘Sedition Caucus.’

Despite a book and a WSJ interview in which Charles Koch claimed to “regret” partisanship, KochPAC has also donated $105,000 to the NRSC since Jan 6.

KochPAC was also the largest corporate PAC donor in the 2020 election cycle, to the representatives and senators & their affiliated leadership PACs, who would go on to vote against certifying Biden’s victory.

Charles Koch’s political groups and family members donated more than $15 million to the 13 Senators who publicly stated that they would object to the certification of the 2020 election results.

Watch this video discussing Peter Thiel’s (and other billionaires’) abuse of our retirement vehicles as tax shelters.

Common decency defines this behavior elegantly: It is called cheating.

And yet, a sizable portion of our society calls it “brilliant.”

That is a problem.
Everyone knows there is a $6K contribution limit to these funds.

If someone realizes their IRA is effectively contributing millions to itself, shouldn’t they go ask a referee whether they are breaking the rules?

The financial system incentives say “No.”

In most jobs, from construction to HR to CyberSec to intelligence, if I make a material mistake, I’m required to report it - but it’s in my *self interest* to. A lie has a shelf life.

But in our financial system, lies compound interest.

The longer the lie, the more profitable.

Multi-story building collapse in Surfside, FL?

How does this happen??
Looks like footage of the building after the fact, from someone staying at the hotel next door…

How many people were inside?
CBS felt a need to take that guy’s video, remove everything he said in it that was pertinent, replace it with egregiously dramatic music, and put their logo on it.

Way to contribute. Spicing up that disaster for your audience. Congratulations.

Trial underway

Stephen Calk, CEO of Federal Savings Bank, gave Manafort $16M in risky loans, in exchange for a role in the Trump admin.

He never got the job, but he did get an interview to be Secretary of the Army.

Scaramucci testifies on Thursday.

cnn.com/2021/06/23/pol…
The Mooch testified today that Manafort asked him to get Calk an interview for Army Secretary

“Anna Ivakhnik, a former [FSBank] employee, testified … on her concerns at the time about Manafort's loan application and financial position”

ICYMI, Kushner also helped push Calk’s interview for a position.

The exhibit shows the influence and relationship that Manafort had with Kushner at the time.

Doral, FL - The CEO of an armored transport company has been charged with facilitating a $140 million transnational illicit gold smuggling operation aimed at laundering cash with alleged ties to criminal activity.

The alleged gold smuggler’s company, Transvalue of Miami, received $406K in PPP loans.
To understand how illicitly (criminally) gained money is often laundered through gold, the Dirty Money series on Netflix is an excellent primer.

Here is one example:

This the second Oath Keeper (that I am aware of) who has agreed to cooperate with the government.

“Young just acknowledged he was trying to obstruct the proceedings on electoral college on Jan 6.”

h/t @satirehat
Seems notable that Young is pleading to conspiracy.

He also admits the “stack” (the military line formation up the steps) was intended to stop the vote count.
Jon Schaffer and Graydon Young have both pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate.

Here is Jon Schaffer marching to the Capitol on 1/6 with the Meggses.

🎯 And a photo of both Graydon Young and Connie Meggs in a coffee shop photo, with Roger Stone.

It’s worth noting that the “conservative” takeover of the Southern Baptist Convention occurred around the same time as the NRA “conservative” takeover (1977) - and also when the CNP/evangelical movement attached itself to the GOP.

Interlocking movements.

msn.com/en-us/news/us/…
For those not familiar with the 1977 “coup” in the NRA, it’s an important story that everyone should understand.

It has had a profound influence on American life and our political landscape.

washingtonpost.com/politics/how-n…
The organizations that have been working to overturn the 2020 election, that have been writing the GOP laws to prevent Democrats from winning elections - ALEC, Heritage, and the CNP - were created and bolted on to the Republican Party around the same time.
