When the sheriff stonewalls, deflects or downright refuses to answer a reporter’s question, why don’t others simply repeat the same question on behalf of the reporter the Sheriff dismisses?
‘Legitimate news source’ he says…. Image
Imagine thinking the best way to reach LA residents is to go on Hannity. Image
Villanueva is willing to sit with the fanatical far-right Epoch Times, but doesn’t want to answer questions from a local reporter?

Forget about the reporter angle. He refuses to answer questions from a *resident of LA*. ImageImage

No LAPD cop has ever received a sustained complaint for biased-policing in LAPD history.

Here’s a thread. You decide. These Black kids were handcuffed and searched over a *turn signal* violation. Doesnt happen to white kids.

Is this biased-policing?

Cops handcuffed this guy. When they realized they were being filmed (9 sec mark) they immediately uncuffed.

They then claimed he looked like a suspect (who is 5’10”). This guy is 6’5”. That’s a seven inch height difference. 😒

Is this biased-policing?
Kids were stopped while walking, handcuffed, searched then released (no citation).

Got into car, and *same cops* immediately PULLED THEM OVER, ordered out of car, handcuffed and searched because…… tinted windows. Stopped twice by same cops.😒

Is this biased-policing?

Well, I guess the LAPD is going to have to send me 600 letters letting cops off the hook for refusing to wear masks.

I’m still filing the complaints, and will let the people of LA know how unserious the LAPD was about controlling COVID.
The taxpayers paid tens of millions of dollars to cover sick pay of cops during COVID. You wonder how much could have been saved had cops just wore masks. But they didn’t.

We got stuck with the massive bill, and they aren’t held accountable at all.
Maskless LAPD came in contact with dozens or even hundreds of people a day. How many people did they spread this deadly disease to?

Common sense says many. Common sense says maskless cops spread and people died.

Chief Moore feels it’s no biggie.

Just got my first ‘mask’ complaint completed.

Result: NON-DISCIPLINARY.

Did you get that? If a cop fails to wear a mask during a pandemic, it’s considered “non-disciplinary”. 🤬
“NON-DISCIPLINARY — EMPLOYEE’S ACTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT, which means the facts revealed that the employees actions could have been different.”

What type of bullshit is this? Guys, the LAPD accountability process is beyond broken.
“Will be addressed by commanding officer through corrective action.”

This is a complete lie.

What, after a year and mask requirements are over, they’re going to require them to wear masks?

Guys, the LAPD does not respect the community. They violate the rules and laugh at us.

I’m so exhausted.
I’ve spent the past two weeks consoling a million people. Everyone wants updates every two mins. Nonstop phone calls from people wanting answers. I don’t have the fucking answers.
Want answers, go talk to the homicide detective. She doesn’t call me, but maybe she’ll talk to you.

Just had lunch with 8 of my son’s friends. Really nice experience. I like these kids.
Eventually they asked me about cop-watching and how I got into it. I asked about their experiences and it was both eye opening yet confirmed what I already knew.
One of his friends went into the army after HS. He now works executive security and is in the Army reserves. Had been recruited by the LAPD and had begun the process at one point.

He said he’s been pulled over more times than he can count. Said only once was deserved.

The LAPD is waging war on the local media, and it should be a bigger story.
Multiple media present identical credentials, but the LAPD arrested & transported some while releasing others.

There were 182 people arrested ay the Echo park protest. A member of the media was the *last* person released. That was *not* a coincidence. It was a message.
A journalist records police behaving poorly, and then that journalist is the *only person* charged w/failing to disperse — even as there were hundreds of other people in the streets. 😒

The LAPD isn’t trying to hide their intimidation/retaliation. All of us should be outraged.
