Without major climate provisions in a reconciliation bill, President Biden will fail to meet his international climate commitments made in April, nor his environmental justice commitments made during the campaign.
In fact, with its massive expansion of highways and airports, @leahstokes makes the point that it’s unclear whether bipartisan bill even lowers emissions.
Earlier this week, @SamTRicketts of @EvergreenAction put out a memo on the top 5 ways the bipartisan deal falls short on climate.

One year ago today, @JayInslee launched a campaign with a simple message: The next president must make defeating the climate crisis the top priority. It was an honor of a lifetime to be a part of it. I thought a share some behind the scenes photos from life on the trail.
