Listening to detention hearing for Jacob Chansley, the so-called organic shaman. He's been in jail since his arrest in January. Judge Lamberth in March denied his release....he's the judge now presiding. Chansley is not charged with a violent crime.
Lamberth in March: "Were defendant released pending trial, he would have the opportunity to again attempt to disrupt the United States government or harm member of Congress." With what, his horns?
His attorney now discussing this video we posted at American Greatness showing USCP giving Chansley instructions on how to protest inside the building
I want to repost @JMichaelWaller account of what he saw on January 6.
"I...noticed a small number of Capitol Police dressed in full riot gear, with shin guards and shoulder guards. One carried a black baton with side handle."
"A contingent of...30 to 50 Capitol Police emerged at the top of the inaugural platform. It was after 1:17 p.m. They were armed with paintball-type long guns that fired capsules of pepper irritant, teargas launchers, and long guns that I could not identify from my position."
"Some sighted their pepper ball weapons toward the densely packed people. One fired a teargas canister—not at the plainclothes militants at the front line, but into the crowd itself. Then another. Flash grenades went off in the middle of the crowd."
Here's what Jensen's solid "lawyer" said in a filing: "A billionaire reality TV show host turned president becoming the savior to a disillusioned/pandemic-weary, largely blue-collar working-class middle America. The internet, with its lightning speed spawned yet an even more...
bizarre offshoot, QANON - described as an American far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Trump." No wonder why he wanted to keep his client in jail.
Listening to bond hearing for Douglas Jensen, who has been behind bars since January. Prosecutor bringing up his beliefs in QAnon "conspiracy theories" because remember....the DOJ doesn't charge people based on views. "He has been cultivating these beliefs for five years."
"He's not just a devotee, he's a preacher" of QAnon. "This type of devotion doesn't just go away." Even losing friends and families haven't made Jensen lose his devotion to Q, prosecutor says. "If he can be so easily manipulated, it should raise alarms." THIS IS HAPPENING
Federal prosecutors just spent about five minutes talking about Jensen's belief in QAnon as a reason why he should stay in jail.
Judge Lamberth now takes aim at Republican members of Congress describing part of day as group of tourists. "Utter nonsense. What planet are they on?"
This has nothing to do with Lloyd's hearing.
Now he's riffing on possibility of FBI informants in Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and Three Percenters.
Defending "other" protesters not charged similarly. Not federal crimes, he claims. Repeating promise from Garland there will be "equal treatment" of protesters, LOL.
Now threatening if she violates probation, she'll go to jail. Lamberth is almost 78, time to retire.
Now jumping on plea, sentencing hearing for Indiana grandmother charged with four counts after entering Capitol for 5 minutes. She has been deprogrammed.
Court-appointed lawyer for Anna Morgan-Lloyd instructed her to read books and watch movies explaining America's badness. Lloyd has since apologized for her white privilege.
Pleading guilty to one count of "parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.” Judge Lamberth presiding.
