Listening to detention hearing for Jacob Chansley, the so-called organic shaman. He's been in jail since his arrest in January. Judge Lamberth in March denied his release....he's the judge now presiding. Chansley is not charged with a violent crime.
Lamberth in March: "Were defendant released pending trial, he would have the opportunity to again attempt to disrupt the United States government or harm member of Congress." With what, his horns?
His attorney now discussing this video we posted at American Greatness showing USCP giving Chansley instructions on how to protest inside the building

amgreatness.com/2021/05/16/vid…
Explaining Chansley's mental health examination, which is still pending. DOJ "vigorously" opposing Chansley's release from jail. He is being held in a low-level federal prison in Littleton, CO.
LOL DOJ: "Even the defense’s own exhibits prove that he has been obsessing and spewing rhetoric about getting rid of traitors for months before his appearance at the Capitol. If he is released, the evidence suggests that this behavior will undoubtedly continue."
In its motion opposing release, DOJ cites Chansley's social media posts. Here's one: “This video explains how the DC swamp was formed...who the swamp monsters are in our nation's capital. It details inarguable truths that once understood make the roots of gov. corruption..." Wut
More: "This video explains how we can all ID the traitors in our government, news networks, entertainment & corporations. It also gives a detailed description of how we can examine these traitor's actions on a grander scale so we may halt their agenda in the USA."
Judge asking DOJ about Chansley's role in QAnon. "Largely that information is unknown...just his outspokenness on Q and the election."

I laugh out loud every time Q comes up in these proceedings. It's so absurd.
Just to recap: A man with likely mental health issues who committed no violent crime and by all accounts was allowed into Capitol by USCP has been incarcerated for nearly 6 months awaiting a trial date that hasn't been set.
Lawyer says Chansley in his cell 23 hours a day now for 150 days. Notes that even the sanest person would go mad.

Lamberth abruptly ends hearing, says he'll rule as soon as he can. WHY NOT TODAY?

Mehta asking DOJ about progress on 3 Oath Keepers who have been held for months awaiting trial. Watkins, Meggs, Harrelson. Doesn't sound like plea negotiations underway, no trial date set.
Prosecutor says earliest trial date for Oath Keepers conspiracy case is February 2022.
Mehta: Asking lawyers for detained defendants for their view on that schedule since they'll be detained "for quite some time" awaiting trial. No duh

Status hearing for Oath Keepers case. Judge Mehta presiding. 13 defendants. Thomas Caldwell asking for change of venue out of D.C.
Caldwell motion: "The Government’s initial charging documents contained multiple misleading, inaccurate, and false statements regarding Caldwell which, having saturated the District’s news media, have irreversibly prejudiced the District’s jury pool."
The motion repeatedly blasts Michael Sherwin, the first prosecutor on the case. "The 60 Minutes interview given by the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia was beyond reckless." Sherwin bragged his office arrested 100+ people before January 20 to stop people from...

I want to repost @JMichaelWaller account of what he saw on January 6.

"I...noticed a small number of Capitol Police dressed in full riot gear, with shin guards and shoulder guards. One carried a black baton with side handle."

thefederalist.com/2021/01/14/i-s…
"A contingent of...30 to 50 Capitol Police emerged at the top of the inaugural platform. It was after 1:17 p.m. They were armed with paintball-type long guns that fired capsules of pepper irritant, teargas launchers, and long guns that I could not identify from my position."
"Some sighted their pepper ball weapons toward the densely packed people. One fired a teargas canister—not at the plainclothes militants at the front line, but into the crowd itself. Then another. Flash grenades went off in the middle of the crowd."

The “expert” who gets all of his ledes about J6 cases from me (and whom I must often correct) determined to prove…something?

Here, he defends another partisan court-appointed lawyer, DOJ citing Q as proof of dangerousness, and lengthy pretrial detention. Let’s begin;
Here's what Jensen's solid "lawyer" said in a filing: "A billionaire reality TV show host turned president becoming the savior to a disillusioned/pandemic-weary, largely blue-collar working-class middle America. The internet, with its lightning speed spawned yet an even more...
bizarre offshoot, QANON - described as an American far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Trump." No wonder why he wanted to keep his client in jail.

Listening to bond hearing for Douglas Jensen, who has been behind bars since January. Prosecutor bringing up his beliefs in QAnon "conspiracy theories" because remember....the DOJ doesn't charge people based on views. "He has been cultivating these beliefs for five years."
"He's not just a devotee, he's a preacher" of QAnon. "This type of devotion doesn't just go away." Even losing friends and families haven't made Jensen lose his devotion to Q, prosecutor says. "If he can be so easily manipulated, it should raise alarms." THIS IS HAPPENING
Federal prosecutors just spent about five minutes talking about Jensen's belief in QAnon as a reason why he should stay in jail.
