Pennsylvania’s highest court found on Wednesday that an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented Cosby from being charged for drugging and molesting Andrea Constand in 2004. Click here for the original conviction: trib.al/0lxpjb4
Charges were filed against Cosby in late 2015. Now 83, he served more than two years of a three- to 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia. The new ruling bars any retrial in the case, the Inquirer reported. Image
Cosby won the right to appeal the case last Tuesday, after being denied in the past. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed to review two aspects of the case, which ultimately led to the overturned conviction. For that story click here: trib.al/3VhfpP5
