*Genesis 49:24 MSG*
But he held steady under fire, his bow firm, his arms limber, With the backing of the Champion of Jacob, the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel.
ππΌ
Joseph held steady under fire...he did not buckle or throw in the towel because of overwhelming
circumstances.
ππΌHis family was against him.
ππΌHis employer was against him...he had no where to runππΌββοΈ, but, he had the backing of the champion of Israel, the El-Shadai Himself.βοΈ
Inspite of what you are going through, you have God's backing.βοΈ
You may not see or feel it,
but, He is there with you.π’
Because, you have His backing...
βοΈYou will not lose that battle with sickness.
ππΌYou will not lose that long standing war.
ππΌYou will not lose that battle with unproductivity, barrenness, lack.
ππΌYou will surely win because, God has turned the
tide in your favour.
ππΌ
You will have a glorious testimony to share today in Jesus nameππΌ

It's not possible...
No "Nau," It can't be him/her
He/she lacks the requisite qualifications..
How come? He/she is just an ordinary fellow...who does he/she know?
That's what "SEE FINISH" causes
1 Samuel 10:11 MSG
When those who had previously known Saul
saw him prophesying with the prophets, they were totally surprised. "What's going on here? What's come over the son of Kish? How on earth did Saul get to be a prophet?"
What they never thought you could attain unto,
What good they never imagined Could befall you,
What blessings
they never thought could be yours, God will make it happen for you.
He hasn't changed. He still makes stuffs happen for the "underdogs"
Psalms 77:14 MSG
You're the God who makes things happen; you showed everyone what you can do -
*Acts 16:25 MSG*
Along about midnight, Paul and Silas were at prayer and singing a robust hymn to God. *The other prisoners couldn't believe their ears* .
ππΌ
Yes, they couldn't believe their ears or would you too?
ππΌThey were in prison & they knew what was
to *come...death* , yet they kept on singing & praying.
ππΌIt wasn't that they had any reasonable thing to be thankful for, (at least, from human comprehension.)
ππΌ
A " *normal* " person, would be in fear & trepidation in this situation.
ππΌThey did what any child of God in an
unpleasant situation should do.. *.Pray & Praise* & just as everyone else was about to write them all off as insane, the unthinkable happened.ππΌ
Acts 16:26 MSG
Then, without warning, a huge earthquake! The jailhouse tottered, every door flew open, all the prisoners were loose.
Was studying a few verses in the book of 1Sam. Chapter 4, and I am struck by a few occurrences which are still common in today's world, even as we continually live on self denial. The Lori Iro kind of thing. Nothing thrives
when we live in self denial. There is no fresh start without doing the needful.
Let's take a look at;
1 Samuel 4:2 MSG
The Philistines marched out to meet Israel, the fighting spread, and Israel was badly beaten - about 4,000 soldiers left dead on the field.
1 Samuel 4:3 When
the troops returned to camp, Israel's elders said, "Why has God given us such a beating today by the Philistines? Let's go to Shiloh and get the Chest of God's Covenant. It will accompany us and save us from the grip of our enemies."
Was Studying about the prophet Eli this morning and I had a few "What if" kind of scenerio on my mind. (My usual practice when studying. I try to paint a scenero, asking myself what I would have done if I was the one)
When Eli and his son's did what God considered evil, He (God)
decided to reign judgement upon them.
1 Samuel 3:14 MSG
This is my sentence on the family of Eli: The evil of Eli's family can never be wiped out by sacrifice or offering."π±π±
1 Samuel 3:18
So Samuel told him, word for word. He held back nothing. Eli said, "He is God. Let him
do whatever He thinks best."
It's like telling your boss or the authority over you to do what he or she thinks best, even, after it had been established that you goofed big time. (Trust me, that is a very poor response)
Concerning Eli's family, they had really goofed and no one
Studying the Word this morning, and these thoughts would just not leave..
You know...there are stuffs God does and it will make one would look dumbfounded. They are not just mind-blowing, they are inconceivable. When you experience such, trust me, there are no English words to
describe them.
Two women come to mind.
The first was Hannah, and the second, Mary, mother of Jesus.
Hannah exclaimed;
1 Samuel 2:1 MSG
Hannah prayed: I'm bursting with God-news! I'm walking on air. I'm laughing at my rivals. I'm dancing my salvation.
Her rival had completely
written her off.
She wasn't going to "make" it, they said, but, God did it anyways.
Mary too said the same thing;
Luke 1:46 MSG
And Mary said, I'm bursting with God-news;
These two women were just awe-struck. They could not find words to describe what just happened. They dint
*Luke 1:36 NLT*
Whatβs more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month.
ππΌShe was given a name because of her challenges.
ππΌShe did not conceive at a time everyone expected her to.
ππΌ
She did not meet people's expectations as it were, hence, she was written off as barren, unfruitful...her case was closed, but, then, God stepped in.
*Psalms 77:14 NIV*
You are the God who performs miracles; you
display your power among the peoples.
And God stepped in;βοΈ
And God once again displayed His power.βοΈ.
*And then* ;
ππΌElizabeth's Barren status changed.
ππΌHer name changed.
ππΌPeople's perception of her changed automatically
ππΌ
There is going to be a display of God's power
