.@TXsecofstate, @TXAG, @ESSVote, & @EACgov are withholding info re: voting machine vendor ES&S’s hash validation failure & related election security concerns. They don’t even describe the records they are withholding. They already withheld a video. 1/ drive.google.com/file/d/1YwHnje…
.@EACgov now claims that it will respond to my January FOIA re: it’s investigation of @essvote’s hash validation failure in October. OCTOBER! How much do you want to bet they will put it off again when October rolls around? #Coverup. 2/
I am trying to follow up on my piece re: this issue. Apparently, these guys didn’t like the piece. It is shameful. Voters deserve to know what is going on with ES&S, America’s largest voting machine vendor. @whowhatwhy 3/ whowhatwhy.org/politics/elect…
PS. ES&S also misconstrues my request. Here is what my request actually said. Plus ES&S’s and @TXsecofstate’s objections are late, as my request was sent in February! Not that they care. Their objections to the video were also late and Paxton still sustained them. 4/
Note that it was Paxton who tried to overturn OTHER state’s results based on alleged security concerns involving Dominion Voting. Isn’t it rich that he is now concealing public records about his state’s own election security problems involving ES&S? 5/
As shown here in my timeline, the documents previously produced by @TXsecofstate expressly referenced a meeting to take place in December re ES&S’s hash problems, which may have affected more systems than ES&S disclosed. No documents re this meeting have been produced. 6/
These are my two public requests to Texas. Info re this December meeting with ES&S should have been produced to me in response to at least one of them. 8/
This is unacceptable. Georgia Republicans want to replace their Dominion system with one from ES&S. Republicans in Shelby County, TN want to buy more ES&S. The public needs this information. Shame on @EACgov, @TXsecofstate, & @TXAG (Mr. “Stop the Steal”). 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 9/
I also find it hard to believe that, after 12/10/20, there were no written communications between Texas & the EAC re: these issues. It was Texas that got the EAC involved in the first place. But Texas produced no such communications. 10/
There’s an actual video where Texas examiners learned that ES&S was using an uncertified software installation method. @TXsecofstate, @ESSVote, & Paxton withheld it entirely, even though I said they cld trim out anything that revealed passwords or similar info. 11/
.@LuluForTexas - can u help?
.@threadreaderapp Plz unroll
.@fairfightaction - can you help? If so, pls dm me. Thanks.
.@harrisonjaime - can u help? if so, pls dm me.
.@BetoORourke - can u help? If so, pls DM me.
Here’s my written response to @TXsecofstate. I’ll send the same thing to Paxton, but he’s a crook so I’m not optimistic. This is a coverup of ES&S’s hash validation problems, and it is not okay. @EACgov is withholding information too. 12/

Wow. “A long-awaited report on the 2020 election from a GOP-controlled Michigan Senate committee recommended that Democratic AG Dana Nessel consider investigating individuals who pushed false claims ‘to raise money or publicity for their own ends.’” 1/ detroitnews.com/story/news/pol…
2/ “The suggestion was among the most striking details of the Senate Oversight Committee's recap of a months-long examination of the presidential election.” The report’s main author, Sen. Ed McBroom, R-Vulcan, said he found "’no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud…’”
3/ "’The committee finds those promoting Antrim County as the prime evidence of a nationwide conspiracy to steal the election place all other statements and actions they make in a position of zero credibility,’ the report said.”

Giuliani held a fundraiser for PA gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano. One of the guests was a dangerous freak insurrectionist who shouted on Jan. 6, “F*CK the tyrants. We need to hang these motherf**s.”

Mastriano is currently organizing an Arizona style #fraudit in PA. 1/

.@TXsecofstate claims it can withhold whatever it wants in response to my public records request re ES&S’s hash failure w/o describing the records withheld. This is not how it works in civil litigation where u must give a privilege log. Is it true under most public records laws? Image
I’ll answer my own question. No, they cannot do what they did. But who is going to stop them? I’m not active and not licensed in Texas. I need a Texas attorney to help. 1/ texasattorneygeneral.gov/sites/default/… Image

The Arizona Republic argues that “public records law does not permit the Senate to play 'hide the ball' by delegating core responsibilities to a third party like Cyber Ninjas..." 1/
azcentral.com/story/news/pol…
I appreciate the sentiment. But where has the media been for the past 20 years during which public officials delegated core election responsibilities to private vendors like ES&S & Dominion, which use their “private” status to avoid public records laws?! 2/
I’ll say it again. The Ninjas are a hideous parody of America’s opaque privatized voting system. What makes the media think private vendors are less partisan or more trustworthy than the Ninjas? Remember how ES&S lied about remote access software & internet connectivity? 3/
