This story—sadly still paywalled—recounts efforts to pressure election officials by Trump himself in addition to his allies, including two attempts to reach Clint Hickman, chair of Maricopa County’s Supervisors, using the WH switchboard on New Years Eve and January 3rd.
The January 3rd outreach, notably, came the day after the audio recording of Trump’s call to pressure GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to change the state’s election results came to light.
Hickman, who was aware of the Raffensperger recording when the second message reached him, says he did not return either call. “I’m not going to tape a President.”

One thing that strikes me about this story is over the years Britney is running what I would call fairly sophisticated covert ops—smuggling unmonitored cell phones, planning secret seaside meetings—all to hire a fucking probate lawyer who will actually represent her interests.
"The turbomachinery of Ku Maloob Zaap's active production facilities were affected by an electrical storm and heavy rains," according to a Pemex incident report shared by one of Reuters' sources.
Bessemer Trust's petition to resign as Britney Spears' co-conservator, the day after they were formally appointed. drive.google.com/file/d/1O6fv4X…
In a declaration, a Managing Director at Bessemer says he was contacted by Spears' court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham. It gets a little fuzzy after that, but he indicates someone represented to him that the conservatorship was voluntary.
Another interesting attachment--an image of a document purporting to be signed by Britney Spears herself. Bring out the handwriting experts.
First case today is Brnovich. The AZ law is found not to violate Section 2 of the VRA or have been enacted with discriminatory intent. As feared, Alito has the 6-3 opinion; Kagan dissents for the liberals. supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf…
From the dissent:
Second case today, and the last of the term, is donor disclosure. It also comes out bad for the liberals, reversing the 9th Circuit. Chief Justice Roberts has the bulk of the complex opinion, and Sotomayor dissents for all three liberal justices. supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf…
