The Talibs are resistant to fashion and change. Afghans in the urban areas have dramatically changed their view on the world. Peasant revolts orchestrated by dark outside forces have never worked out well.
There is a fairly decent propaganda campaign from Pakistan pretending that the talibs are sweeping peaceful into power. Identical to the mid 90's narrative.
There is an opposing campaign by the Afghan government detailing how many talibs are being wiped out in airstrikes. Quite extraordinary numbers..a repeat of the 2001 narrative of mass annihilation of talibs, many of them Pakistanis.
The final narrative is the "last soldier out" meme. Staged by the Russians on the Friendship Bridge or even images of the famous CIA Huey lifting employees from Saigon. An example of how the public, govt and media resort to cliche to explain complex events
The truth is that the talibs can never run Afghanistan, they are simply proxies for chaos. Turkey might have the best chance to bridge this gap. Russia too. The Saudis have typically propped up the talibs as part of their regional interests. China is going to have to rethink.
Turkey has not committed yet but they turned things around pretty quickly in Libya pouring in drones and Syrian mercenaries Other nations may just wait for the talibs to fail and back the ethnic militias again. It will get ugly. At least Kabul real estate will go back to normal.

My favorite Y'all KFC Eada rapper drops a new awful tune. #NeesMoreMuzzleControl.
We forget that July 4th was going to be the big day for the Roger Stone posse and violent resurrection of Saint Trump. Guess it's just gonna have to be boring long weekend with friends and family
OK so they fucked up on Jan 6, and that March 6 promise musta slipped their mind but can these people form a quorum and meet us on the field of battle already? vox.com/policy-and-pol…

Who knew the red pill was a prostrate supplement?
Despite mine, yours and everyone else's opinions... and cat videos, social media is above all, about advertising revenue. The right insists it is being censored while pushing new platforms to exploit a gullible demographic.
Guo Wengui and his moldy chia pet Steve Bannon, have pitched crooked digital currency, ugly clothing, oppression of dissidents, secret investigations, homeland hatred, lame music videos and narcissistic bored rich guy stuff. None of it seems to work. wwd.com/business-news/…

The perils of being "horribly illiquid". The trial in New York has rebooted a lifetime of Donald's bluster and bullshit. Something New Yorkers have known since the weasel first popped onto the media scene in the 80's. Science, law, math and commonsense descends on the nation.
Trump was a guy from over the bridge who became a convenient punching bag and sparring partner for the NY media elite. A tasteless outsider who appealed to the demo Howard Stern tapped into. Canadian run Spy Magazine saw right through Trump. boweryboyshistory.com/2015/08/spy-vs…
Despite being a not very talented, spoiled rich kid, son of a tax grifter and slumlord millionaire, Donald portrayed himself as self made and "fighter"... looking out for the common man. His shtick was swallowed whole by the media.

A well sourced @emptywheel examination and question: Why does an accountant making over a million a year need to cheat on his taxes? Why did his huckster boss and immediate family support this criminal ecosystem rather than pay and deduct larger salaries? emptywheel.net/2021/07/02/why…
The Brokeass Billionaire: "In 2014, (Trump) paid a combined $79.7 million for large golf courses in Scotland and Ireland. Since then, those clubs have lost money while Trump renovated them, requiring him to pump in $164 million in cash to keep them running"golfdigest.com/story/donald-t…
I met a yacht broker who told me a great story. A wife "renovated" a yacht using hubby's money for $12M and divorced him when it was done. The contractor secretly kicked back most of that money to the wife and just looked busy. Does Trump hire people who kick back money?

So Trump's family business and his family money guy are under indictment. It would appear that Rudy may be next which would be his lawyer. To most people that would be a good motivator to pick out a poolside condo in Saudi Arabia and toss the kids to the feds to slow them down.
Pulling in third-tier targets (who are going down for something unless they flip) to get to the next tier (his kids) seems logical. It only takes one conviction on one crime to do the time. This first move seems like they are prepping the battlefield.
Gaddafi insisted that he could win and survive. He holed up in his hometown and waited for a miracle. He hired mercenaries to exfil him at the last moment. He didn't make it. I have had dinner twice with the guy who kept his body in his meat locker.

Matt Gaetz defends Frat Boy Freedoms and believes he and other trust funder party bros are being spied on America. He also hates social media and wants to invite Britney to blub for the cameras. That's a pretty full agenda. rumble.com/vj9ksb-matt-ga…
Exclusive: NSA photos of Matt Gaetz released. ImageImageImageImage
Other trust funder bros who appear to have something to hide and insist that they are being spied on: Tucker Carlson, Erik Prince, Donald Trump, Don Jr and all the shitheads who reached out to foreign spies and dictators before and during the election. theguardian.com/us-news/live/2…
