1) Many of you have asked why so many loons (most of them on the LEFT, not the right) have come out of the woodwork the past few weeks to stalk me and spread conspiracy theories about me. Well, it began when news broke that a grand jury was empaneled to bring Trump indictments.

2) For years, numerous liberal pundits big and small have built their brand around insisting Trump would get away with it all (it scares you into paying attention to them). Many of these pundits spent years loudly mocking me for daring to say that Trump would end up indicted.

3) In fact a whole lot of liberal pundits – ranging from the pundits at major news sites, to the obscure wannabe pundits who just the troll bigger liberal pundits for a living – spent years building their brand by telling their liberal audiences that Palmer Report was fake news.

4) When news broke a month ago that there would be Trump-related indictments, those liberal pundits who built their brand around "Trump will get away with it all" and "Palmer Report is fake news" felt threatened by it, and began lashing out at me. Immediately.

5) Within a day or two of the indictment news, everyone from a State Senator, to numerous liberal pundits, to Jake Tapper, were all lashing out at me on Twitter. So many of you pushed back against it and factually defended me, "Palmer Report" became the top trending topic.

6) Ever since then, the liberal pundits who tried to build their brand by mocking me, and their followers, have been gunning for me. And once the news finally broke that indictments were coming within days, it became a stampede against me.

7) Every liberal pundit who mocked me in years past, and now fears looking foolish for it because I've been vindicated by the indictments, has come out of the woodwork to lash out at me. Some of them are so angry about the turn of events, their behavior is bordering on unhinged.

8) So not only are liberal pundits big and small trolling me and harassing my readers on Twitter, other gutter trolls of the left who have built their sense of identity around believing I'm "fake news" have begun assaulting my Wikipedia page and invading my personal life and such

9) And again, 95% of these folks are on MY SIDE of the political fence. This is not a disagreement over political views. This is a huge cadre of people on my side, big and small, who have spent years considering "Palmer Report is fake news" as part of their personal identity.

10) You'd think these folks would decide to just join my bandwagon, since I'm clearly the "winning" team now (and some of them have in fact done so). But many of them are too psychologically committed to seeing me as the devil. Again, even though they're on MY SIDE politically.

11) At some point the tide will have to turn. Some of these folks will realize that ramping up their attacks and lies about me, even as I continue to be vindicated, is merely costing them followers and respect. But for now it's like something out of night of the living dead.

12) Please understand that I'm now spending all day, every day, fighting to keep my career intact. I'm under siege, on a level that should be almost mathematically impossible for a fairly small and fairly non-controversial pundit like me. Yet here we are.

13) So when you see me defend myself against certain lies and attacks, and when you see me fighting back against certain kinds of frankly psychotic invasions into my life, keep in mind what I'm facing right now.

14) As always, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the ongoing support of my readers and audience, as this open season on me keeps getting uglier.

And again, this is all because a bunch of folks on my side of the fence spent years calling me "fake news" and now feel foolish.

15) Also – and this is really important to me – please don't ever tell me to "just ignore it." That's not only faulty advice, it conveniently ignores the sheer scope of the assault that my entire life is under right now. I'll fight back if I goddamn please, thank you.

16) Finally, because I've been stressing this over and over again, and many of you still don't get it, the people doing this to me are on the LEFT not the right. They are NOT Trump fans. They are NOT bots. They are real people, on my own side, who bet big against me, and lost.
