Today is art class - always the best day of the week. We have just kicked off with an important exercise - creating a grey scale. Doing this every week may seem boring but it is useful to be reminded that the real world exists in shades of grey, not just black and white. Image
We followed with another still life and I chose this image to reproduce. This is a 1600's genre called 'Vanitas' developed in Holland to communicate the transitory nature of being & the futility of believing accumulated wealth and influence will change life's destiny / enjoyment. Image
First step is always creation of a thumbnail 'notan' to figure to distribution of light and dark tones in the image. Using full range of the 'grey-scale' is important. I am fairly happy to share this prelim image but will spend more time inserting detail. Who holds all the aces? ImageImage
A little more work on this image and some examples of the art movement. I think certain 'rock star' virologists probably fit well in here ... fame, fortune, recognition, power & influence, extreme vanity ... all the ingredients are there. Who would I be thinking of... ImageImageImageImage

Police raids in Germany today on candidates for the new dieBasis party including Prof. Ulrike Kämmerer. The other side are in panic!
Appears to have been two dieBasis party candidates plus others as identified by Reiner Füllmich. They are likely in panic mode now since the vaccine safety narrative is rapidly falling apart.
2020news.de released this short report on today's police raids. This action certainly undermines the functioning of an independent judiciary and thus can be seen as a clear move away from a democratic state.

I bring you my latest Covid cartoon & new thread: ‘The United Vacci-Nations’. I strongly believe visual art has an important role to comment on/ expose what is going wrong in society. As other forms of art it has been notable by its absence through suppression during the crisis.
How did a mostly western led cohort of wealthy nation states all act in lockstep unison & with unprecedented determination and taxpayer spending to mount the largest & most expensive vaccination campaign in history? Is it correct even to talk about 'nation states' any more?
Or has a major part of western government already been subverted by a club of unelected billionaires and psychopaths determined to shape a new world order while flushing the old world, its people, cultures, small businesses etc 'down the toilet'. Presided over by Klaus Schwab ..
