1/ Motherhood has a due date.

It, as a possibility, evaporates when that date is reached.
The clock runs down as each cycle passes.

...until one of the chief biological purposes of female physiology will never be realized.

The world says that this is no biggie.
No regrets...
2/ but... this is a lie and an obvious one.

Everything in a woman’s nature pushes her towards this end.

To repress it requires intense social conditioning.

This happens around two key lies...
3/ Lie 1 - Motherhood isn’t normative.

Lie 2 - Even if it is, you can delay its pursuit without repercussion.

These two lies are the waters in which women are stewed from their earliest years.

They are pushed towards careers.
4/ The vocation of a wife and mother is ignored, derided, or treated as an optional add-on after years in a "fulfilling" career.

Worst yet, they are taught to compete with men:

“You can do whatever a man can do. You can be an astronaut, fireman, and CEO."
5/ "...Look, see, here are some examples.
See their happy smiley faces.”

The idea that a woman ought to complement a man is missing from their education.

So women follow the course on which they’ve been set...
6/ They kick the can of marriage and family down the road so that they can compete with men in the workplace.

And why shouldn’t they?

Everyone tells them that they will be happy and can add family on later if they so desire.

But this is a lie.
7/ The feminine reality is quite different, especially post-30.

The ability to conceive drastically diminishes as a woman ages.

Moreover, the number of candidates for marriage drastically decreases while the competition for those candidates increases.
8/ The struggle to find a husband is real and can be bleak.
The bleakness of the search is blamed on men.

Where are all the quality men?
Why are men so intimidated by strong independent successful women?

There is an unwillingness to accept even SOME of the blame.
9/ Poor decision were made and done so on the basis of lies.

The bleakness of the feminine situation must be explained away.

It’s too much to bear.
-Movies are made
-Books are written
-Sermons preached
-Ministries created

All to say....
10/ “No. Singleness is good. You are more than a mother. No regrets. Don’t worry. Be happy.”

Women may parrot these lines but their nature is irrepressible.

Rachel said, “Give me children or I die.”

A great sadness, even madness, falls upon a woman deprived of children.
11/ It drove Sarah to say, “Here, sleep with my servant so that I may have a child by her.”

It shouldn’t surprise us that alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and mental illness is exploding disproportionately among women.
12/ Women are unhappy.

The easy way to manage this unhappiness is to medicate and deny.

Reality is “hurtful.”
The pain is too much.
Feminism lied.
Feminism failed.
It didn’t lead to freedom but a prison.
13/ Anyone seeking to wake women up and help them to face the reality of their situation will be resisted and demonized.

God's design is the surest path to happiness.
Marriage and motherhood are good.
Men aren't the competition.
The sexes exist as a complement to each other.
14/ Don't kick the can down the road.

Embrace the goodness of femininity now...even if you made some mistakes.

It's always better late than never.
But earlier is usually better.

You can miss out and you don't want that.
Time only moves forward.

1/ Rebels don't hate authority.
They love it.

They just hate having limits placed on their authority.

God delegates His authority to be used according to His commands.

Yes, a father, pastor & magistrate have authority BUT that authority has limits & a proper administration.
2/ An authority who exceeds the limits of his power or fails to exercise his powers in a lawful way is a rebel.

One tell of a rebel is a constant call for submission.

Another tell of a rebel is anger when you ask for them to explain the grounds for their call to submit.
3/ A rebel roots their authority in their person. They'll cloak this by saying it's rooted in their office. But…

Wokeness and the Souls of our children: A Megathread

1/ I asked, "Why are so many grown children are going woke even though they came from healthy Christian homes?"

Pastor Rich Lusk answered:

I get asked regularly why I address “woke” issues so much from the pulpit…
2/ It’s for the sake of the kids, to inoculate them against the garbage that’s out there but it’ll continue to be a problem no matter what we do - even if we preach on these things, get our kids in solid Christian educational environ, etc., it will still be an issue for us.
3/ And that’s because wokeness is the spirit of the age.

And there will always be people who rebel against the truth because they’d rather fit in and go with the flow.

Worldliness is what it is, and some in the church will always be led astray.

1 A household is a miniature world.

It is a micro-cosmos. Every household is one atom in the substance of God’s kingdom. And it is through man's powerful sex drive that these households are built.

Then, through households, societies are established.
2 Culture begins and emanates from the household. It is where the next generation of men is shaped and trained, until they leave their father and mother, join themselves to a wife, and start the process anew.

It is through households that dominion is exercised.
3 One man alone achieves very little. A man and wife achieve more. A man, his wife, & their grown children are a force to be reckoned with—especially as those children in turn build households that fit together into his, establishing an extended house of considerable power.

1/ What to say about Juneteenth?

Well, I'm glad that chattel slavery came to an end in the states. Not a fan of a bloody civil war. But I understand why those who descended from slaves would want to celebrate their freedom & look to do so on a day that represents a milestone.
2/ I'm not offended by it. Does it warrant a national holiday? I don't know. My attitude is pretty ambivalent. I think most national holidays are unnecessary.
3/ I do suspect that Juneteenth will be used as yet another tool to further advance Critical Race Theory and shame anyone who doesn't bow the knee to the religion du jour.

So I get why many will be annoyed and even angered at the conversation around Juneteenth.
