@pranit_a Group discussion - several platforms and technologies, but importantly, need to actually *facilitate* discussion - lots of guidelines online to create safe inclusive spaces.
Also suggests recording to assist non-attending students - in Zoom cloud vs local recording results in different recording (e.g. host local record can access breakout rooms).
Asynchronous activities can also help promote engagement since there is flexibility in when they occur

Important aspect to ensure is the social interaction - this can occur asynch as well through asking students to contribute to discussion and get to know each other - e.g. online forums. Also need to create connection with staff e.g. email/discussion forums
