.@Twitter gave far-right extremists the platform they needed to plan an attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, and the website will enable politically motivated violence again in the future if it isn't reformed.

Jack Dorsey and @Twitter employ progressive branding for this company and try to present as being non-ideological.

Inside, they allegedly push an "activist, libertarian" worldview.

Who else would promote extremists like Nick Fuentes, Jack Posobiec and others after 1/6?
On January 5, @hannahgais flagged to Twitter Nick Fuentes' remarks raising the specter of killing GOP lawmakers -- one day before the attack.

Twitter cast aside concerns about Fuentes and offered to register us in a "Partner Support Portal."

Reminder that Jack Dorsey and Vijaya Gadde went on Rogan in 2019 and quasi-apologized to Tim Pool about banning Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes.

Gadde described McInnes then as a “test case for how we think about getting people back on the platform."

Twitter verified Nick Fuentes AFTER he went to Unite the Right. Posobiec AFTER Pizzagate.

These ppl were known only for *being extremists* online:
Remember how after Jan 6 @Twitter got reporters to scribble up PR about Birdwatch? It's a total failure because it was arguably never meant to succeed.

CNN's Kaitlin Collins followed up the Trump debacle last night by interviewing Chad Wolf about Title 42.

He's the Stephen Miller crony at DHS who a whistleblower accused of whitewashing threats from white supremacist terrorists.
Chad Wolf's expertise on immigration basically centers around working as "acting" DHS chief. He was not lawfully appointed. Critics pointed out that Stephen Miller may have run the department through him.

Jack Posobiec blocks me so I can't ask him directly about his thoughts on Ali Alexander's scandal.

Posobiec helped make the "groomer" slur go viral in smearing LGBTQ+ people in the run-up to Pride '22.

He's associated himself with Ali publicly for years. Image

Mackey’s white supremacist views are 1A protected. But they also helped prove out his motive:

The jury in the “Ricky Vaughn” trial just found Douglass Mackey GUILTY
Mackey took the news with an inscrutable expression on his face.

Deliberations went on four days for just one charge.

People sent him prayer emojis on here.
Mackey’s defense attorney argued that Ricky Vaughn was just “stuff posting” — a baby talk euphemism for shiposting.

The jury considered this at length and decided to trash it.

He will be sentenced on August 16th.

Jury still deliberating in the Douglass Mackey/Ricky Vaughn case and will pick up tomorrow.

Mackey’s defense name checked John Lewis, Michelle Obama, Gandhi and other people liberals admire in his closing remarks.
Prosecutors zeroed in on potential motive — repeatedly hammering Mackey’s comments disparaging Black people, immigrants and women, arguing that they shouldn’t vote.

Ricky Vaughn said these things repeatedly. He didn’t say them sideways. He was blunt.
I wouldn’t read into this going on another day FWIW.

Deliberations started late in the day and some materials came to the jury in roughly the final hour.

Mackey’s entire family came to court today. Previously he had no one or just his Dad.
