OK this is just my (& others) speculation but you know how it goes: "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

Here I'll make my case as to why I think there's a faction of "the left" that are actively working against M4A.

It started maybe a bit before but definitely reared it's ugly head after Biden won in Nov. Now with the Force the Vote, I can see why some people, even though it is a tactic both DSA and AOC called for before, might be wary. No one likes to see their favorite policy voted down.

There is historical precedence as to why the strategy was a good one but those facts were hidden by the attribution of FTV to Dore and this faction of "the left" trying to claim poison fruit because they don't agree with Dore some of his views.

Hell I don't agree with him on some of his views. I don't think I agree with anyone on all of their views. I have my own views and they are all based on asking myself "Is this punching down on anyone?" That never steers me wrong.

Not sure who needs to hear this but pressuring representatives to represent the people and what they want (76% is a high percentage of folks in this country agreeing on something) is NOT punching down. They are suppose to REPRESENT the people & speak on their needs and concerns.

So, if the whole anti-FTV was the only thing I may just say this was a faction of "the left" that fangirled over politicians and feel like they know better than 10's of millions of people. Sorry if I don't buy a handful of people knowing better than 76% of their citizens.

But then came the weird flex against @wholewashington and @RedBeretsM4All. These are two groups who have actively been trying to get Washington State a universal healthcare system & has supported the M4A effort for all over the US.

Not sure if you are all familiar with how Canada got their's, it was one province at a time. That is the strategy the groups in WA think of when they push hard in their state. Going at their efforts is counterproductive to say the least.

Then the M4M4All marches and instead of the group of people on "the left" rallying because of an infiltration and sabotage effort (one they proved possible because they themselves infiltrated for the purpose of sabotage)

Yes, the March coordinators have admitted this was a stupid mistake &, even though this dude never was involved, there's a group on "the left" (the same I've been talking about) that would rather tear the marches down then worry why this happened & help it not to in the future.

Have you asked yourself why not one of them is upset that one of their own infiltrated the slack with nefarious purpose?

Well, so maybe if this group on "the left" wants to prove they're not tanking M4A on purpose, they not make it so obvious or just stop doing it (even better)

So, I get a lot of you just think of this as infighting, but I personally will call out anytime anybody is screwing with the efforts to get universal/single payer health care for this country even if that screw is coming from "the left".
