Malfeasance always starts small, then becomes comfortable and the norm. Then impunity enters the equation, followed by grandiosity and the delusion of being 'above the rules' and untouchable. Then comes the unraveling and reckoning. But without a conscience, it's easy. Like Max.
Old Hindu proverb. 'The person who gives a glass of water to the man taking a cow to slaughter, is a participant in the slaughter.' The Universe notes what all of us do.
Sometimes organisations are lucky that their crisis unfolds amidst other, greater crises. Getting diminished. But the Internet has a good memory. And things will surface again in the quieter times and get the attention they deserve. So we can all learn to be better humans.
The Lord Jesus Christ said that what we do to the least among us, we are doing to *him*. He also said that if people do things that harm children, it would be better to tie millstones around their necks and jump into the ocean. #Karma records can't be fudged. We must do better.
Always interesting to watch individuals and organisations emphasising their ethics and honesty. Sometimes under the cloak of religious or spiritual affiliation. But if thoughts, feelings and behaviour aren't congruent and aligned, the ugly truth will always out. #Sustainability
Ralph Waldo Emerson, philosopher, defining success:
'If just one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded.'
Who can answer that and state unequivocally, 'I have never intentionally been involved in anything that has caused harm to anyone'?

Dear Douglas, as a party veteran, maybe you've lost just a smidgen of perspective? People are looking for a credible and *consistent* political alternative. @Our_DA is not that. It's driven and riven, by the Three 'Mouthketeers', being Zille, Steenhuisen and Zille-Lite, Mazzone.
They cannot open their mouths without their un-filtered blurting provoking yet another storm of controversy. They scorn voters, treat 'em with contempt, as if they should be grateful to be represented by the DA. They don't listen, and they're rude as hell in social media.
They bicker with voters, potential and actual. There's been chronic infighting among themselves for years, now. They behave like brats in a sandpit. There is collective low EQ, and a Trumpist inability to bear the *mildest* criticism. Steenhuisen wore out his blocking finger.
