Ignoring her acknowledgement of "Poona Pact" definition of "Hindus" (UC +OBC) being different from SC (Dalits), here r facts

She is confusing & mixing Jammu region with Kashmir Valley & garnishing it with propaganda misinformation

"Kashmir" she says is actually not only Kashmir Valley but also Jammu region."Hindus" here she refers to are Kashmiri Brahmin Pundits. "Dalits" here r Dalits of Jammu region

First Kashmir Valley.

Were "Hindus" (Kashmiri Brahmin Pundits) bonded laborers in Kashmir Valley ?

Answer: BIG NO

Srinagar city based Kashmiri Pundits and Upper Caste Syeddist Sunni Muslim elite were collaborators of Hindu Rajput Dogra regime of Jammu.

While rural Kashmiris Hindu Pundits were poorer than their Urban counterparts, they were never bonded laborers.

Kashmiri Pasmanda Muslim Castes and poor Kashmiri Brahmin converts (Kashmiri Muslims only) were bonded laborers of royal Hindu Dogra Rajput regime of Jammu.

Pasmanda Muslims were badly exploited by Hindu Rajput Dogra elite under a system of "begar", forced working on royal state projects for "free". Pasmanda Kashmiri Muslim men and older Pasmanda Kashmiri women would be made to do road, canal construction and maintenance work.

Younger Pasmanda Kashmiri Muslim women were forced into so called "legal tax paying brothels". There was high demand in British Punjab among Punjabi Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus for "Kashmiri" (Muslim) girls. Prostitution was made legal and all traffiked women were Pasmanda Muslims.

What would Upper Caste Syed & Ashraf Muslims of Kashmir do?

They would facilitate kidnapping & forced supply of poor Pasmanda Muslims girls to brothels of Kashmir & Punjab

Punjabi Pakistani Muslims, who do drama of "honor of Muslim daughters of Kashmir" were largest exploitors.

Kashmiri PasmandaMuslims were tortured, forced to starve & their women trafficked for prostitution by gang of KashmiriMuslimSyeds & Ashrafs & Dogra Hindu Brahmin Rajput officialdom. To intimidate PasmandaMuslims, entire families would be burnt alive for their refusal to do begar.

Pasmanda Kashmiri Muslims were soexploited that they were severely malnourished & were wiped out in many famines that hit Kashmir in late 1800s, forcing many to escape to BritishPunjab for survival. PakistaniPunjab still has this "Kashmiri"community,which is culturally Punjabized

Now coming to Jammu region, where "Dalit" part comes into play

Jammu being "Hindu" majority of course has to have Dalits. Jammu has its own Dogri Pahari Dalits and then there are Valmiki Dalits from Punjab who were invited by J&K government to do manual scavenging job in Jammu.

There was a strike by J&K (primarily Jammu region) based Dogri Safai Karamcharis in 1950s. To counter that, J&K government lured poor Valmiki of neighboring Punjab to come to Jammu as "temporary" workers with promise of high pay, permanent job and J&K state citizenship.

Upper Caste Ashrafi Syed Muslim &Brahmin Convert Kashmiri Muslims have toxic hatred for Hindus, who r symbol of India for them. So these Ashrafi Kasmiri Muslim governments who considered Valmikis of Punjab as unclean lower caste untouchableHindus never gave them state citizenship

Nearly 7 Lakh Valmiki Punjabi community remained stuck in Jammu without any official documents & no access to government facilities&benefits. Later BJP, exploited this issue as Muslim discrimination against Hindu Dalits &cited this as one of reasons for abrogation of Article 370.

Denial of state citizenship and thereby denial of official documents including SC certicates prohibited Punjabi Valmikis from accessing welfare programs, education and government eployment. BJP used giving citizenship to these Valmiki as RSS's "Dalit emancipation" agenda.

Now when you match these facts with Smriti Irani's propaganda that "Hindus & Dalits were bonded laborers in Kashmir", it is clear that she has not even faintinst clue about geography &sociology of Jammu and Kashmir or Valmiki community. She just reduced it to Hindu Muslim binary.

Lastly,

If anything this only shows one thing.Upper Caste Hindus &Upper Caste Muslims have toxic hatred for very existence of each others faith and would love to destroy Islam/Hinduism completely and for that they abuse each other Dalit (Valmikis) &Pasmanda (Kashmiri) Muslims.
