VIDEO THREAD: On Sunday, anti-Zionist Jewish activists with Neturei Karta gathered to counter a pro-Israel #NoFear rally against antisemitism.

The situation became tense as a rally participant put an Israeli flag on an anti-Zionist's banner, who proceeded to stomp on it.
After a couple minutes, police intervened, separating the two sides who continued to debate.

@N2Sreports contributor @JonFarinaPhoto filmed the interaction and interviewed both sides, which you can watch here:
Meghan McCain @MeghanMcCain, daughter of late Senator John McCain, spoke at the pro-Israel #NoFear rally against antisemitism at the United States Capitol.

"I'm Meghan McCain and I am a Zionist!" she proudly declared.
"It is antisemitism being anti-Zionist, and I'm not afraid to say that in front of all of you," @MeghanMcCain told the crowd.

You can watch the uncut speech, filmed by @JonFarinaPhoto, here:
State Rep @almaforarizona: "I am Mexican, I am Jewish, and I am damn proud to be a Zionist. I am a Democrat, and I will not allow anyone to ever make me choose one of my identities. I will not allow a small minority to speak on behalf of our party because that is not who we are."
See @almaforarizona's full speech here, shot by @JonFarinaPhoto for @N2Sreports.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

We are now @verified 😎 ✅
You are now hereby authorized to reply to my posts with the following meme.
Serious comment though: This is what my dashboard looks like now.

Twitter has effectively created a two-tiered system where verified people (politicians, etc) can ignore the unverified.

This system needs to be reformed so all media can access government officials etc.

I'm heading to Colorado to film a story this weekend that will be quite challenging.

Activists - some likely armed - plan to protest @ArvadaPolice following the death of Johnny Hurley.

Hurley was a civilian who stopped an active shooter, and was then shot by police. ImageImageImage
This story is challenging for me because I have actually known Johnny since 2019.

The protest taking place tomorrow is a call for "answers" including release of evidence in the case.

While my goal is to be impartial covering the event, I always support government transparency. Image
I sent a handful of questions to "Felix" @rockyMTchaos who is organizing the event.

He is anticipating anarchists, libertarians, and "2A guys" "as well as some from the left."

Of his own organization, he calls them "a network of pissed off goons." ImageImage

It’s was one half year ago right now that then-President Trump began the speech that would be the primary subject of his impeachment.

I filmed beginning-to-end as his supporters watched from the National Mall.

Half year ago right now: While the breach at the Capitol has already begun, the wave of Trump supporters who attended Trump’s entire speech began making their way down Pennsylvania Avenue.
About a half year ago now:

Trump supporters fought police for control of the steps around the west side of the Capitol where Biden would be Inaugurated exactly two weeks later.

Police fired riot munitions down the steps to keep them back.

Armed Second Amendment activists with the "Boogaloo" movement and @BLM757 approached the Capitol building in Richmond, Virginia this afternoon and were confronted by police over a new state gun law preventing firearms on the premises, effective July 1.
"I hope you have some other way to defend yourself or avoid the situation" a VA Capitol officer suggested to @BLM757 activists. "If you don't like the laws enacted, talk to your elected leaders.

One describes being shot at by Trump supporters explaining why he needs the 2A.
A boogaloo activist told a Capitol Police officer that the United States was started by "people like us."

Both sides agreed to back off from one another, and the Boogaloos & BLM stepped a block back from the area where guns are forbidden as of July 1.

VIDEO THREAD: This morning, environmental activists with @ShutDown_DC, @IENearth, @ArmInArmClimate blocked several entrances to the White House to demand Biden back policies for a fossil-fuel-free future.

At east entrance, they chained themselves to fake oil tower and wind mill.
"We'll speak to you in your colonizer language if we have to," an activist said in an interview directed at Biden as activists blockaded White House south entrance.

"We're demanding that you put climate at the front of your agenda like you said in the first place."
At the White House south entrance, a vehicle tried to get in despite the enviro activist blockade.

Activists cheered as police made the car turn around.

Washington DC is officially adding sale (but not possession) of flavored/menthol tobacco products to the drug war.

The Democratic City council members that voted for the ban specifically say they support it because Black residents prefer these products. washingtonpost.com/local/dc-polit…
The City Council had a heated debate on the subject, with dissenting voices saying that the criminalization of flavored tobacco dealers will disproportionately subject Black residents to police response.

washingtonpost.com/local/dc-polit…
The flavored/menthol tobacco ban specifically exempts hookah bars.

So as a practical example: A hookah bar may serve shisha to its customers, but an entrepreneur like Eric Garner selling Newports with menthol would be subject to arrest.
