5 years ago today I was given a 2nd chance at life. I was diagnosed with diffuse scleroderma and was given 2-5 years to live. After having chemo to eradicate my immune system, I was given my own stem cells back. This saved my life by resetting my immune system.
Today I celebrate!
This was the harvesting process of my stem cells so I wouldn't have any transplant rejection issues.
I had to inject myself with neupogen to produce the stem cells that I needed.

This process can be used for many autoimmune diseases. If u have any questions ask me!
Not an easy process but it saved my life. I lost all my hair on day 14 after initial chemo. It felt freeing to me. No bad hair days.
5 days of chemo.
Fludarabine and
Cyclophosphamide
RatG
(Antithymocite globulin)
This was a heart friendly treatment which was good for those who's hearts have been affected by scleroderma.
I participated in a clinical trial that is now the standard of care for those with diffuse scleroderma.
I'm trying to thank u all individually as I read each and every response.
