So I took a peek at Dominionist Twitter.

Of course they’re defending John Carpay and his interference with the private affairs of the Chief Justice by having him followed by a Private Investigator.

They consider it a right to surveil anyone.
Seems there’s a fair amount of support. Whatever removes legitimate authority and replaces it with personal liberty decides on an individual basis is the current theme. Ditto in regards to vaccines and passports.
Don’t pay attention to the overt threat of violence if people who value “liberty” don’t get their way.

Bernier’s comments make it clear. This wasn’t an oops. It’s a strategy of intimidation.
This faction of far right evangelical Q’Anon influenced people is a clear threat to Canadian national security, public officials and public health.

No joke. These people scare me. They should scare you as well.
Now you know why any regulation of the internet is really an existential threat to this group of people.

They want the freedom to commit sabotage and sedition in broad daylight.

They want the freedom to determine who gets freedom. And the power to limit it to themselves.
This is the Dominionist’s reaction after a radical extremist from their community hires a PI to tail a judge and other high level public officials.

To interfere?

To intimidate?

To blackmail?

To humiliate?

Not one of those excuses is legitimate, valid or ethical.
And at least a couple are potentially criminal.

Organizations like JCCF, with their dark money funding and single purpose to expand Dominionism’s power & influence must be called out and charitable status removed.
Organizations which exist solely to undermine national sovereignty, human rights and the constitution that governs Canada don’t deserve charitable status.

Carpay needs to be disbarred and the JCCF organization severely sanctioned.
We can not keep permitting spiritual malfeasance in the pursuit of political power undermine Canadian laws, norms and conventions.

And that’s all this faction seems to want to do. Destroy Canada. Destroy human rights. Destroy constitutional precedents.

Hellooo! People!

What happened Monday? Carpay got caught spying on a Manitoba Chief Justice presiding over a case Carpay was involved in representing.

Harper is telling AB UCP caucus to shut their damn mouths about anything remotely connecting them to Carpay and JCCF.
Except it’s a direct link between Harper and Ted Morton and between Kenney and Carpay.

Long long history between the four men. Going back decades.

Meaning Harper and Kenney and therefore UCP are implicated in this behaviour.
Were the UCP directly involved? Have they received surveillance reports about other public figures who have been followed?

We don’t know.

But we do know it’s doubtful that the tension between Kenney and Carpay was ever real.

With the list of Board members partially revealed, it’s a direct link to UCP and Harper and Kenney.

So how much is the current covid constitutional battle in Alberta a ruse?
Grace Life & Fairview Baptist churches, and Artur Pawlowski just seem a little more preplanned since infractions of covid mandates went unchallenged for so long (like a full year). Then all of a sudden, a harsh crackdown.
Providing the perfect set up for a constitutional challenge.

Ted Morton is a former AB Progressive Conservative that was also close to Harper. In fact he co-authored the “Firewall Letter” with Harper, Tom Flanagan, Rainer Knopff, Andrew Crooks, and

I’d like people to see this article.

Over two years ago it was published. But it speaks to the current political environment in Canada.

What possesses an indigenous woman to attempt to destroy reconciliation?
Greed. It’s always greed.

Indigenous people are no less susceptible to greed than any other cultural group. To believe otherwise is racist and condescending.

In Canada, most people know of two distinct indigenous groups. First Nations and Inuit.
Many assume Métis are part of First Nation’s communities.

But we aren’t. Métis are a distinct indigenous ethnic group completely separate from First Nations.

The easiest way to describe the differences between FN & Métis is to compare them to modern day Kurds.

Spoiler; I’m also from Edmonton, but have never been to Stampede.

But stampede has been around for a long time. However, it’s purpose has evolved over time.
The Calgary Stampede started off as an annual trade and information fair exhibiting the region’s innovations and progress. It was meant to attract Eastern Canadian farmers and ranchers to Alberta. A sparsely populated region in Western Canada that remained a territory.
An annual display of the Eurocentric “civilizing” of the Wild West.

And a call for Canadians to move west to assist in “civilizing” & settling the region.

Remember treaty 7 had been signed in 1877. Populating the region was paramount to maintaining control of land title.

@UncleBeebaw Demagoguery is not opposition. It’s trickery. It’s fallacious finger pointing and character assassination to win support.

That’s not opposition. That’s negative campaigning. If you don’t know the difference, I can’t help you.
@UncleBeebaw There is no claim being made that the problem is longstanding. There’s no denial of federal government responsibility.

But it’s a lie and blatant misrepresentation of facts to state LPC did not respond immediately to the request for help from MP Qaqqaq.
@UncleBeebaw MP Qaqqaq requested $500 Million to address the housing needs of Inuit communities. The article states LPC has committed more than she requested. Through multiple programs. But rather than accept the LPC response, she accuses the sitting government of ignoring the situation.

Don’t forget when this decision is made is as significant as the decision itself.

We are in an era where women’s participation in the labour force has been similarly reduced as the largest contraction in female labour participation during post WW2.
Resulting in a baby boom.

Influenced by a huge promotion of traditional gender roles for women. So men could get back to work.

Which inevitably will be the focus of the demoted and devalued Status of Women by UCP.

Wouldn’t want to rely too heavily on immigration.
Need to keep white birth numbers up. Tucker did give us a big lie warning about replacement theory on Fox recently.

In other words, it will be menial low pay jobs that will become the focus of the new associate minister. Gotta keep immigrant women from having too many babies.
