So, was so crazy busy driving across the country in an electric car & broadcasting, the one thing I didn’t have time to do was post on my socials about it! It was that manic!

Anyhoo, here’s a taster of the launch day for @SkySports Summer of #Sustainability on @SkySportsNews…

Amazing to see @SpursOfficial’s training ground up close, they do incredible work in terms of sustainability. @LedleyKing knows his stuff too, talking seasonal food, vegan diets, bug hotels, athletes representing - super start to the electric roadtrip.

Then to @surreycricket to talk about their immense efforts to minimise their carbon footprint (eg solar panels, the ORCA food waste machine), the threats climate change poses to cricket and how @DaviesTinkler is innovating with the first ever bamboo bat.

At Dorney Lake, @GregSearle2012 told us what he’s seen re impact on rowing (heat exhaustion for athletes, flooding of rivers, etc.) and @mhcwilson explained the @oly_earth symbol @TeamGB will be doing to signify the green legacy they want to leave.

Then 3 sports in 1 at @WilliamsAdvEng: we talked @F1, @FIAFormulaE & @ExtremeELive, how motorsport has helped develop electric mobility, and @catierallye1 on sport’s role in climate action and her own sustainability journey. (And we charged the car. 😅)
