1. Over the last decade, public corporations have given Republicans a massive financial advantage in state politics

Cash from corporate treasuries was funneled through 527 groups, which are not subject to campaign finance limits

2. There are six major 527s that dominate state politics.

Three GOP groups: @The_RGA, @RepublicanAGs, @RSLC

Three Dem groups: @DemGovs, @DemocraticAGs, @DLCC

Collectively these 6 have raised $1.69 billion over the last 5 election cycles (2009-2020)

3. The GOP groups, however, have raised far more than the Dem groups: $1.05 billion v. $632 million

Much of this discrepancy was created by public corporations.

4. Over the last decade, public corporations donated $485 million to the three GOP groups and $265 million to the three Democratic groups

I wasn't a math major, but I'm pretty sure that's a $220 million difference

2. After 1/6, @bloominbrands, the parent company of @Outback, said it was pausing political donations indefinitely.

On 6/30, Bloomin' Brands donated 5K to Congressman @ByronDonalds, who voted to overturn the election.
3. After 1/6, @Cheniere said it was "disturbed and disheartened" and would suspend its political giving to make sure that future donations reflect the company's "values."

1. This is a good example of how CRT hysteria works.

2. This Daily Wire article is aggregated from The Federalist.

The Federalist article concerns a meeting of the County Board of Supervisors.

So, right off the bat, what occurred at this meeting was not a lesson being presented to children.
3. Critical Race Theory was never mentioned at the meeting but: "Byerly also noted a recently mandated African American history class would be a positive addition to county schools."

So the problem is they are discussing teaching history in school

Who is financing this effort?

Looking at this data, one group kept appearing again and again: The Thomas W. Smith Foundation

His foundation has no website, but is run by James Piereson, a fellow at the Manhattan Institute

1. Hervis Rogers waited 6 hours to vote in March 2020 and now faces decades in prison.

He is a case study in how the criminal justice system is abused to promote political narratives, undermine fundamental rights, and target minority groups.

Rogers didn't know couldn't vote.

Why?

In 2007, the Texas legislature passed a bill to inform people released from prison about voting eligibility

It was vetoed by Rick Perry

1. HERVIS ROGERS

Everyone should know his name.

He faces DECADES in prison as the result of a gross abuse of power by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton

Rogers crime?

He tried to vote.
2. Rogers arrived at the polls in 2020 shortly before the 7PM closing and WAITED 6 HOURS TO VOTE

He was happy to do it!

3. But Rogers was still on parole so he was ineligible to vote. Rogers was not trying to vote illegally. It was an honest mistake.

He has now been charged with two felonies and is behind bars.

He faces a potential sentence of 40 YEARS or more.

His bail was set at 100K

BREAKING: @Toyota reverses course, will STOP donating to members of Congress who voted to overturn the election

The company faced a backlash after it donated 62K to 39 Republican objectors
@Toyota Popular.info first reported on @Toyota's donations in APRIL. At the time, Toyota said that it did "not believe it is appropriate to judge members of Congress solely based on their votes on election certification."
