WATCH HERE: Closing arguments underway in CO v. Mark Redwine. @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Prosecutor says Dylan was beloved and kept in constant contact with his friends and family. He said Dylan left a trail of bread crumbs for them to figure out what happened to him @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork State: Who was the last person seen with Dylan Redwine, a 13-year-old boy? Who was with Dylan the last time anyone ever heard from him? Who had the opportunity and reason to hurt Dylan? Prosecutor asks. @LawCrimeNetwork
State asks: Who had the smell of a dead body on his clothes and truck? Who had Dylan's blood in his house? Whose behavior was misleading? @LawCrimeNetwork
State: Remains tell us some of Dylan's belongings are gone. The defendant did his best to dispose of Dylan's remains. He almost succeeded. @LawCrimeNetwork
State: This is not a random string of coincidences. It's Occam's razor. Dylan didn't want to see his father. His mom called a lawyer to ask whether he had to go. They told him he had to go @LawCrimeNetwork
He told his friends and his family he didn't want to go. @LawCrimeNetwork
State: Dylan had severed his relationship with his dad and his dad was aware of it. It made him angry. 1 week before the murder, he sends an email knowing his son wants nothing to do with him. @LawCrimeNetwork
State: Dylan arrives at the airport and Mark Redwine knows he wants nothing to do with him. He even talks a week prior in an email about taking money out of an account for Dylan since his needs are being met @LawCrimeNetwork
State: When defendant picks up Dylan from airport he knows how Dylan doesn't want to be there. MR tells Agent Grusing that Dylan didn't want to be there and was standoffish. They go to Wal-Mart. Employee testifies Dylan "looked like he didn't want to be there." @LawCrimeNetwork
State details texts where Dylan asks to go to his friend's house the next morning. Early the next morning. Dylan never shows up. @LawCrimeNetwork
State: Dylan is last seen with the defendant. As they ride to Mark Redwine's home, there's tension and anger. In just a couple of hours, Dylan will never be heard from again. Dylan is on his Facebook and texting all the time. Trail of bread crumbs. @LawCrimeNetwork
State: Dylan is in regular contact with his mom after landing in Durango. He's in repeated contact with his friends. Then it stops. We know at 9:56 p.m. when he's alone in the living room with the defendant, Dylan's phone goes off. Dylan is off the grid @LawCrimeNetwork
State says Mark Redwine tried to avoid Dylan being detected when Roy Vreeland asked for an item with Dylan's scent. When Vreeland said he asked whether MR had anything of Dylan's he said "no." @LawCrimeNetwork
Evasive, suspicious, misleading - those are the words the prosecutor is using to describe Mark Redwine's behavior when Dylan goes missing. "He is the murderer." @LawCrimeNetwork
Prosecutor says Mark Redwine goes to work and his lawyer's office the morning after Dylan arrived with no set appointment for either one. He says MR was trying to set up an alibi. Told the FBI he left Dylan sleeping and they planned to do something at 11:30 @LawCrimeNetwork

including Dylan bleeding from the mouth after being hit with a Nerf football. Redwine initially said he had a cold sore but Grusing said he would check with the flight attendant and he said Redwine pulled back from that. No transcript will be provided @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Also, Agt. Grusing testified when he told Mark Redwine the truth was going to come out eventually, he said Mark Redwine put his head in his hands and said "I have to think about myself." @LawCrimeNetwork

State: He doesn't look for his son. Think about that ladies and gentlemen: He doesn't look for his son. He's the only person who doesn't look for his son b/c he knows what happened. He turns his porch light off and goes to bed @LawCrimeNetwork
Roy Vreeland volunteers 20 days of the month to look for Dylan. The defendant doesn't give it 20 minutes. He's at home asleep. @LawCrimeNetwork
@LawCrimeNetwork Prosecutor now detailing other things Mark Redwine said he did including looking for a fishing pole of Dylan's. Redwine said the fishing pole was missing. The dam was 9 miles from house. Redwine suggested he walked there. Family said he would never do that. @LawCrimeNetwork

Frank: What Floyd's blood pressure was in 2019 - how do we make that probative to May 2020 and what was going on that day? What I relevant is what the officers perceive of Mr. Floyd @LawCrimeNetwork
Frank: This is the classic eggshell skull. These officers are responsible and all of the training they receive show they are responsible for this person (someone in their custody) @LawCrimeNetwork
Judge Cahill: as I understand, they are offering this as proof of cause of death. It's the whole point of he ingested drugs in May 2019 that led to a hypertensive incident then on May 2020 he ingests drugs - could that have caused the death? @LawCrimeNetwork

Nelson: When BCA initially processed the vehicles, at looking at initial pics in #GeorgeFloyd's Mercedes you can see pills in the center console. Pills not seized in first search. Photos caused state to execute 2nd search warrant @LawCrimeNetwork
Nelson: Second search, documented every item. Found Suboxone strips and pills. Pills were fentanyl and meth mixture. One pill sent to lab in PA for quantification. Looking at pics of Squad 320 you see residue in back seat @LawCrimeNetwork
Nelson: Defense requested to inspect Squad 320. "I'm not an LE officer.. what I saw was immediately apparent was chewed up drugs." On the floor, a near complete pill @LawCrimeNetwork
