🧵FOOD FOR THOUGHT: "Egg Lady" juror was widely viewed as a juror favorable to the defense toward the end of the trial. "Blanket Lady" juror was viewed similarly. Becky Hill is accused of asking EL about her thoughts on the evidence and then making up a Facebook post (cont) 1/6 claiming Egg Lady's ex-husband posted that she was talking about the case in a bar. She denied it. That Facebook post has never been shared/revealed/found and the ex-husband denies ever posting it in the Walterboro page 2/6

Trying to listen (again) to wiretaps from in OH v. #GeorgeWagner. In one, Angela tells GW4: "They're going to have to show evidence, George. But look, they don't have to show evidence if they got one witness." GW4 then talks people being subpoenaed. @LawCrimeNetwork AW: "This is what's been going through the grapevine that I've collected information on: they don't have anything. LUNCH BREAK IN OH v. #GeorgeWagnerIV: John Patrick Parker began the cross-examination by being more friendly than Wednesday. Jake seems very comfortable answering Q's from Parker. He has a sort of country boy charm. Hard to explain @LawCrimeNetwork Parker said, "if you need a break, let me know." Jake responds smiling, "I gotcha." He starts by asking Jake about Billy teaching him to pick locks. Jake went into great detail about how Billy taught him how to do that at 10 or 11 @LawCrimeNetwork

COURT IN RECESS FOR THE DAY: After lunch, Angie Canepa went through Jake's plea agreement with him and and asked him about pleading guilty to all charges. He said he agreed to testify "truthfully, completely and accurately." @LawCrimeNetwork Jake Wagner said he asked, as part of his plea agreement, to see his parents and brother one final time before he went to prison, if they were permitted. Jake said even though he killed 5, he admitted to 8. "I just took it all." @LawCrimeNetwork

This morning, Angie Canepa clarified that Sophia reportedly made allegations of sexual abuse by Jake Wagner's now ex-wife, Elizabeth, and Sophia later said she made it up because @LawCrimeNetwork she felt like Jake was giving Elizabeth/Beth Anne more attention than she was getting. Jake confirms his brother told him Elizabeth shouldn't be living in the same house and suggested she needed to go @LawCrimeNetwork

MORNING BREAK IN OH v. #GeorgeWagnerIV. Angie Canepa took Jake Wagner back to 4:30-is A.M. on April 22, 2016. Jake says they pulled the truck into the new barn and took off all of their clothes, floor mats, ski masks, shoes, etc. @LawCrimeNetwork Jake said he went in the house in his boxers and got "redressed." Put clothes, shoes, victims' cell phones into an old food trough to burn. Used a grinder to cut up the 3 guns and then partially destroyed with a torch. @LawCrimeNetwork

Some things I forgot from today but worth mentioning: a few people saw in the courtroom that during a sidebar Jake mouthed to the Rhoden family "I'm sorry." Here's the lowdown of what happened in #JohnnyDepp v. #AmberHeard today: the hearing started with Elaine Bredehoft asking about a briefing schedule for post-trial/post verdict motions. Judge Azcarate said something to the effect of @LawCrimeNetwork "We don't do that" and mentioned that EB has been practicing there for 20 years. EB wanted to schedule hearings. Judge Azcarate said "I've had this case for 18 months and we had a 6-week trial. We don't need a hearing." EB said "Your Honor can decide on the papers"

Wow. Pat Reilly, attorney for #GabbyPetito's parents says, "By the way, the only reason Steven Bertolino (Laundrie family attorney) isn't a defendant in this case is because he's not a resident of Florida." @LawCrimeNetwork Reilly says the Laundries acted as if they were sympathetic to #GabbyPetito being missing when they knew she was in fact dead at the hands of their son, #BrianLaundrie @LawCrimeNetwork

Now to Motion 85 to dismiss counts in indictment b/c case was charged in Pike County and many of the alleged offenses occurred in Adams and Scioto County. (Rita Newcomb's - Jake's g-ma- attorney tried this argument in her case. It didn't work). #PikeCounty @LawCrimeNetwork FOR CONTEXT: Rita Newcomb had been charged with perjury and obstruction for lying to the grand jury. She agreed sometime ago to testify against her family members and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor @LawCrimeNetwork

We were asked a question on the Lunch Show about threats of violence being made against #AmberHeard and whether this trial can be fair. I didn't get to say everything I wanted to say. So, here goes. I don't feel anyone should be threatening violence against anyone (cont) 1/4 I don't condone violence of any sort. This case is being litigated in a court of law. Trials are a search for the truth and jurors are the trier of fact. I understand the passion people feel about this case. But let the jury do its work. That said, 2/4

Kraus says the DA's office got a call about the higher quality drone video when Lackowski was testifying.
