@unicorn_uterus I didn't know of the people at the 2017 city caucuses in my ward. I had never seen them at events organized by my neighborhood organization, and I had been attending my neighborhood organization meetings since Jan of 2014. They were really young and white.

@unicorn_uterus I might go to Loring Park Pride Event. That has been around for over 40 years, and a former mayor, Mayor Rybek, is gay and did a lot for gay rights in the city. I want to get the opinions of people who have been here for ten years or more.

@unicorn_uterus There has been a lot of focus on the murder of George Floyd and racist police in the city, and that is a really good thing. But there are also a lot of questionable apartment developments happening.

@unicorn_uterus There are a lot of questions about who was responsible for the rioting and property damage last year, and I'd like to see a good study of who owned or purchased the properties that were destroyed. @StarTribune

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @StarTribune I have a lot of questions about why apartment prices are increasing when there is so much new construction of apartment buildings along Lake St, in Edina, and in St. Louis Park. I know a new light rail is going to pass thru St. Louis Park.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @startribune Do you have a record of all the new apartment buildings that have been built in the Twin Cities Metro - who owns them, and who can afford to live there? I'm not a hotshot reporter, but I do get out of my apt every so often.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune Because I have seen them being built very quickly along Lake Street and in Edina during the last four years when most of the city was focused on murders by racist police. Which property developers took advantage of the Trump years to build and build?

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @Startibune I'm not against urban density or urban infill, but there seems to have been little zoning discussion of the new apartments in Uptown, and in the buildings on Lake Street that are on the opposite side of the street from the Lyndale boundary.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @startribune All of this building does not seem to have resulted in more affordable or more accessible apartments. If I hadn't been crippled by your abysmal "health" system, I would have been on zoning advisory boards asking these questions.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @StarTribune One of the last times I was able to attend a Lyndale neighborhood association meeting in person, I raised the issue of out of control development in Uptown. And I actually voted for a new development on the Lyndale side of Lake St. (That vote failed).

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @Startribune I question this city's commitment to the elderly and the disabled. I question the quality of your health care for people with complicated health issues, for the elderly, and for those with mental health issues. You kinda are horrible in this area, Minneapolis.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune And, @StarTribune, don't think that I am indifferent to what the MPD is like. Someone made up bogus parking tickets so they could impound my car. I couldn't afford the $500 bail that I needed to get my car back from impound. Copies of those tickets will go to @AGEllison.

She asked if I had reported my problems to MPD. Hysterical. I did report the many problems to the Lyndale Neighborhood Association.

@unicorn_uterus @StarTribune @AGEllison @startribune @AGEllison I talked to my former dissertation advisor because she has studied South Africa, and her sister is married to a high ranking South African official. She has a pretty good understanding of systemic racism and apartheid. She knew why I didn't go to MPD.
