Any business or entity that relies on FACEBOOK for primary 'marketing, messaging and communications' is operating a flawed business model.
Ceding this 'basic and essential part' of managing a 'business/agency' is amateur and negligent.
Key stakeholders are excluded/scorned.
Reliance on FACEBOOK by too many entities has resulted in exclusion of consumers seeking services, goods and assistance.
'Go to our FACEBOOK page' is a lazy, ignorant and ineffective way to operate but too often the new 'SOP' in our societies.
And often the only choice offered.
When the only choice offered is:

businesses and agencies are excluding large segments of society.
Local and national newspapers, journalism and advertising have been getting screwed-along with consumers-by FACEBOOK's model.
