1/For a clear insight into what our current conflict is about, check out this Congressional testimony by Robert E. Bauman from March 9, 2000. It's about the future of monetary systems: fiat currency vs. digital cash and the "sovereign individual."

2/This is what January 6th was about: libertarian absolutists who insist on a hierarchical, authoritarian view of society vs. collaborative, cooperative, pro-democracy advocates of governance. These two worldviews are fundamentally irreconcilable.

3/If we want to save democracy and avoid falling into a permanent state of authoritarian oligarchy, we need to bring this conflict (fiat vs. gold/crypto) to the surface, put all the parts on the table, and synthesize new solutions that put this conflict to rest.

4/Otherwise we will keep having this conflict over and over again; and because we refuse to talk coherently about it, right now authoritarians, oligarchs, and organized crime are winning. We MUST talk about long term monetary security if we are going to turn this around.

5/This testimony from Bauman (who is tied into the January 6th + Brexit networks via Agora, CNP, William Rees-Mogg, etc) shows how this worldview was coalescing 21+ years ago. We didn't address this then, and we're not addressing it now — and the conflict is killing us.

6/To get past the noise and to the heart of the matter, we need to address this head-on. Partisanship, polarization, violence, cultishness, disinformation are all *products* of this currency (and hierarchy/supremacy) conflict. Let's cut to the chase and TALK ABOUT IT!

7/A lot of stupid, evil, cultish stuff is being done to serve the "gold" agenda; we need to cut off the command and control of those networks and shut it down and force advocates of this worldview to pursue their vision out in the open, and in good faith.

8/Sorry, fascists: running networked insurgencies that try to degrade society sufficiently that your illiberal agenda "wins" is NOT a strategy. We all see you. Regulators need to be cutting off emergent non-state currency and stop giving you power. Enough.

9/Bottom line: fascist plutocrats are hiding their agenda behind a noisy networked insurgency to avoid having to fight on the merits of their argument; because they know if it was put to a vote, they would LOSE.

This isn't what honorable people do. They are COWARDS.
