The Labour Party smears me again. And thousands of other former members and members who were accused falsely of antisemitism for supporting the human rights of others. Pretty soon they won’t have any members at all! mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
Like hundreds of thousands of others I joined the Labour Party in 2015 because I heard @jeremycorbyn speak. He was the first politician I had ever heard who was honest and respectful and answered every question asked sincerely. An intelligent, well read man.
A year later it suddenly became apparent that in spite of the smiles and applause at the time, Labour MPs weren’t going to stand for an honest leader. They resigned from his cabinet, one every hour, in a coordinated attempt to force him to resign.
That didn’t work though. Jeremy brought a whole new group of young, working class and diverse MPs into the cabinet. So the PLP cooked up another plan. They would get together with the Israel lobby and cook up some antisemitism allegations.
After all, what’s the best way to break a man who has dedicated himself to human rights, internationalism and social justice? Accuse him of being a racist of course.
By 2017 the governance of the Labour Party was in on it as well. They had already removed all the computers from the leaders office before his staff arrived so they couldn’t do their jobs. Now they decided to sabotage a general election.
Ian McNicol and his cronies (many of whom later appeared in a discredited Panorama programme), diverted funds, sabotaged campaigns, and did everything they could to prevent the Labour Party (their employer) winning GE217.
Even then, Corbyn and his team managed to get the highest vote since 1945 and almost won enough seats. Theresa May only managed to take power by getting in bed with the DUP. And you know what happened there.
All this was evidenced in the #LabourLeaks report and the #FordeReport but the former only came into the public eye because it was leaked, and we’ll never see the latter because Starmer has made sure it will never be published.
So when you hear next week about Keir Starmer expelling ‘extremists’ and purging the party of left wingers, think about what I’ve said above, what you know about my ethics and ask yourself who is the extremist here?
If you are unaware of these smears or have any doubts about the voracity of my statements you would do well to read this blog post by @GregHadfield illustrating the McCarthyite behaviour of the Labour Party’s NEC (over which Mr Corbyn had no influence)
You may have heard that the @UKLabour Labour Party plans to scrap the Married Couple's Tax Allowance if they get into power. Attack ads are being shared on Facebook by the Conservative Party arguing that people will be worse off because of this. Here are the facts:
Maximum tax allowance available through the Married Couple's Tax Allowance is £250 a year. BUT…
Every Married Couple will be BETTER OFF under @UKLabour Labour - because: - and here are just five of the ways:
