In her new book, the Economist’s Helen Joyce claims the trans “global agenda” is “shaped” by three Jewish billionaires. The sourcing is vague in the book, but she has previously cited Jennifer Bilek. Bilek has previously cited an explicit Nazi. Gendercrit launders antisemitism.
Previously, Joyce was supposed to speak at a conference with Bilek, until her promotion of explicitly antisemitic content started getting attention. Bilek was quietly shuffled away, Joyce never commented, and now she is repeating these theories as fact.
If @hjoycegender wants people to think she opposes antisemitism, she has to actually oppose it. She needs to condemn Bilek’s antisemitic conspiracy theories. She needs to tell the truth: trans rights are not a conspiracy and there is no suspicious or unusual funding behind it.
Check how Soros is supposedly engineering trans rights: by making donations to PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND THE ACLU. These theories are bullshit. Pretending otherwise is a bridge from gendercrit to explicit antisemitism that people will continue to cross, and Joyce is propagating it.
It was actually to Human Rights Watch, a different organization
for some reason I got a game about adopting a kid fathered by a nazi soldier post-ww2 and it is giving me depression
everyone hates my kid and she is very sad
i keep buying games that do not look at all enjoyable because they have extremely positive reviews and they are consistently a bad time. I do not need this child in my life
Remember when Shaun King was like “I am going to climb the seven summits,” and then after people donated thousands of dollars he was like “I have realized I cannot climb a mountain”
This isn’t even him and if ur like “this guy is gonna climb Everest” it’s a clear no
white male professors with enormous platforms are such passionate and committed allies on issues such as “maintain my hierarchical authority in the classroom” 😌
No expectations that Drezner will respond to the fact that the position he ridiculed as “adorable” is in fact held by many feminists; Kruse is informing @DahliaZahava what women and poc think… not doing this kind of thing is literally the point of democratizing the classroom lol
Professors shouldn’t position themselves as sole epistemic authorities because they will marginalize experiences they lack. A title obviously does not do this alone but positioning demanding yours as FEMINIST while acting like this 🥴
My mom says in the 50s mashed potatoes had lumps. In the 70s lumps went Out, they had to be smooth. Now lumps are in again. I think she is making this up
I mean I believe this is the history of mashed potatoes she personally ate
Someone gave an atypical and good talk at madmeta once about why things become less horrible with time and it is interesting to think this only happens together with others
