1β£ You have to be your biggest advocate
There is often an idea that one day if you work hard, someone will notice you and you'll be taken care of. That does happen, but not as often as you'd like to believe. You need to own your own development and fight for it
2β£ Do something for yourself
The biggest void I feel as a retiree is I've given up 30 years of life to someone else. I enjoyed my work but what's next? Who am I without my job? I wish I did something for myself - a project or something! So I feel I'm progressing
