Squad out w/stolen vehicle at Spring/Pierce, driver is slumped behind the wheel. Black Dodge Challenger, plate EYA27*.
This vehicle fled from police earlier today. At that time the driver was a Native or Hispanic M with a red brimmed ball cap.

Driver fled, responders requesting flight Trooper.
East on Spring.

Now north on Johnson St, probably headed to 35W.

Pursuit, got off on the Hiawatha exit from 35W.

Trooper overhead.

28th and Hiawatha Ave S

29th and 16th Ave S in an alley.

24th and Bloomington Ave S
North on 13th from 24th St E
Bailing at 23rd St E
Hispanic M, blue jeans, fleeing on foot.

IN CUSTODY at 22xx 13th Ave S.
Code 4 with the suspect. Incoming cars can slow. Trooper 8 clearing from the incident.

Suspect is saying he swallowed drugs. EMS requested to the scene.

(This is often a common ruse to avoid going to jail)

"Saw the whole thing out my bedroom window. Squads had him pinned and he rammed them out of the way."
