UK kids have been watching US tv for much longer than UK kids have been watching Peppa Pig. And yet British pronunciations have persevered.

I see other media* orgs have picked up this "story" now. August is usually when silly US/UK linguistic stories erupt. Early this year!

- Why is it news if kids imitate language from tv? They imitate things all the time. They might go for months insisting on dressing like Spiderman or insisting that they *are* Spiderman. No one writes "news" stories about that.
