We are pleased to announce the election of nurse clinical director Kathryn Dalby-Welsh (@DalbyWelsh) as Vice Chair of our #PCNnetwork board. 1/4
Kat feels that by choosing a member of the wider PCN team, a strong message is being sent that our board is progressive in its vision, recognises that PCNs are vessels for integration, collaboration + are able to view the wider horizon that encompass all that is primary care 2/4
Our board is now made up of the many and varied voices that are working within our PCNs. 3/4
We have PCNs on many different paths, but what binds them is the forward momentum that we need to sustain our workforce and practices, address the health inequalities and find that joy in our day-to-day work.
We are proud to launch our new #NotTooMuchToMask initiative today, in a show of solidarity with everyone who wants to continue protecting themselves and others after now that the remaining COVID-19 restrictions have lifted in England.
We have come so far. Vaccinations are making life safer but not everyone is protected and the threat of coronavirus is still here. We have brought together a number of leading bodies to help us all to stay safe and support the NHS

We can all help to stop the virus from spreading out of control by making sensible choices that reduce the risk of illness to ourselves and those around us. We think it’s #NotTooMuchToMask
Over the past few months, #communityhealthservices have stepped up & shown their expertise, flexibility & resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Our Community Network report highlights their critical contribution
As the report shows through numerous case studies, our community staff have adapted, transformed and delivered essential services during the most demanding and difficult time of their careers. Some key points 👇
The expansion and transformation of community services’ capacity during the pandemic proved critical in supporting the NHS’ response and protecting the service from becoming overwhelmed during the initial peak.
We welcome this Plan which has been a long time coming.
Our staff are our greatest asset and if any evidence were needed of their dedication and commitment the terrible trauma of this pandemic has provided cast-iron proof of that.
2/9
It has been a period when so many staff have performed heroically at a time of unprecedented strain.
It is fitting the People Plan focuses on a commitment to look after our staff, many of whom are exhausted & now have to face up to the possibility of a gruelling winter.

We are proud to launch the Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders Network to transform the NHS so that members of the LGBTQ+ community can be assured of equal treatment, receive the best care and work in an inclusive environment where they can thrive. 1/10
The Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders Network is made up of both LGBTQ+ leaders & allies from a range of roles, skills & backgrounds across health and care and will provide a platform for the community to listen, share and engage with their peers and allies.
The aim is to build a social movement of LGBTQ+ people and their allies who aspire to leadership roles in the NHS to help bring about change across the system. 3/10
